1 day last year, I went in for a burger and fries and was very disappointed as the hamburger was burnt and the fries we're oily, burnt and quite disgusting. I asked the very polite waitress how the food was now and she said the cook is good and the food is very good. Giving the burger another try, I ordered a nice cold beer. The beer is good as always, but when the burger and fries came, they were even worse than the burger and fries that I tried there last year in 2023!!! The waitress informed me that it was the same cook that had been working there for over two years now. Perhaps the other food items on the menu are better prepared than what I had. If this was my establishment, I would have a better cook preparing the food. Owners of the longhorn pub in Vernon, please take note!! At least I never paid for the burger, fries or the beer. The waitresses were nice enough not to charge me for my poor food.Experience it's when they found out that I did reviews and photo work for google maps. At least I didn't have to ask. . .

Not impressed with this place - since the new owners a few years back it’s become greasy looking. Washrooms need resurfacing and cleaning and the place needs an uplift. I get it the plandemic hurt businesses but change the oil more frequently in your friers - get different thicker fries; give more in food presentation & quality for what you are asking . Server Brenda is fabulous - as well as the male bartender (attended music bingo) last night.
