Love this little place. Another go to from time to time. The owner/staff are friendly and fun people. The food is unique and not what you would expect normally for Mexican food in Canada but it is great! Definitely worth checking it out.

Im my experience Los Huesos is the only truly authentic Mexican restaurant in the Okanagan. The food is always amazing and you are never left wanting by the portion size. Further the service is always wonderful. My wife and I always try to stop in anytime we pass through Vernon.

Los Terrible! I have tried this place about 4 times, and since the last time, to my suprise there has not been a change in ownership, but the quality seems to have nose dived. It seems like they have forgotten how to cook Mexican food, and they are hoping that the people that eat here dont know what it should be. Although the gentleman that used to be the owner will still serve you and make you margaritas, his presence is the only thing left that is Mexican about this restaurant.

Starting with the music, just because it is in Spanish, does not mean it is Mexican. Not once has actual Mexican music been playing when I have eaten here, its mostly Caribbean, and when I asked why, I was informed that they just put on any Spanish playlist.

I ordered the enfrijoladas, which is a classic Mexican dish that is supposed to be an enchilada with a bean sauce on top. Instead I got a soggy taco folded in half with refried beans on top, the same beans that were my side. It was horrible, no where close to what enfrijoladas are supposed to be.

My spouse ordered the quesadilla. Its supposed to be a large tortilla with filling and then topped with another tortilla, then put on the grill until a crunchy outside is acheived.

He got a soggy tortilla filled with molten lava cheese. It was obviously microwaved, because that’s the only way you would get a wet tortilla with melted cheese on the inside. It was so bad that he refused to finish it .

Mexico has thousands of years of food culture with rich and intricate flavors. Nothing about Mexican food or culture is represented here, and I can guarantee that the people that eat here, have no idea what real mexican food is. As a Mexican, this food and experience was not only terrible, it was offensive. I hope the owners invest in re-training their kitchen staff how to cook mexican food, and I hope that any other restaurant they own is treated with better respect than this place.

You don’t have to be Mexican to cook good Mexican food, nor do you have to be a certain ethnicity to prepare or enjoy any culturally specific cuisine. It would be nice however if the food that was served, at least resembled what it was claiming to be

My wife and I went here a couple of days ago for her birthday, while it was our first time - it certainly won’t be the last. The host was as warm and inviting as the atmosphere within the restaurant itself, we were greeted with a smile and shown great hospitality. The food itself was delicious, the portions are very generous, and I was even treated to fresh chiles when I asked about making my dinner a bit more spicy, as I do enjoy the spiciest of offerings. We started with a Pina Colada and their nachos with beef, and that itself was almost enough of a meal for the two of us, but we decided to order an entree each anyway. Much to our surprise again, the portions were very generous, the food was beautiful in presentation and rich with flavour. My wife had their chimichanga with chicken as her protein, and I went for the chipotle pork burrito. Both were as satiating as they were flavourful. Definitely an easy recommendation to anyone who feels the need to fill the void within their stomach, as you certainly will not leave hungry!

A great place, with extremely wonderful food and huge portion sizes (well the burritos at least at monstrous). Loved the feel.of the restaurant and the margaritas are on point. Highly recommend!

The food was filled with so much flavor. Servings are large and presented beautifully. Friendly server and very efficient. They have a kids menu. Highly recommend. Yum!!

We ordered drop-off catering for our summer staff event - a self-serve taco bar with everything you could ask for! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the buffet-style portions were very generous. We had plenty left over!

Our staff loved the food. It was a big hit! The service was excellent as well. Very friendly and accommodating. We really appreciated the delivery, setup, serving tools provided, and flexibility on how and when to get the serving dishes back to the restaurant.

Los Huesos will definitely be on our list next time we need to order for events!
