Best japanese food in vernon hands down. I always get the beef don and it never fails the meat taste like grade a beef their rolls are always on point and have really good deals on their bento boxes.

I ordered the katsu don without realizing how it was prepared, and one of the ladies was kind enough to change the dish it to suit my preferences—even though it was completely my fault for not reading the menu properly. She truly went out of her way and saved my day!

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at this little restaurant. Unfortunately, the Chef was in Japan, so the sushi menu was limited. The service was fantastic and what we were able to order was high-quality. We had the tempura onion, which was unlike anything we’ve ever had in a great way! We will definitely come back to see what the sushi and sashimi is like with The head chef in house. I will come back again! Friendly service and extremely fair Prices. This is a must try.

Sashimi was very fresh. Looks family run. Place is small less than 10 tables for sit down. Food service was fast however service was lacking. Server didn't check to see if we needed anything mid meal and to clear the dirty dishes when done. Couldn't get her attention to get bill.

This is such a wonderful place to get food from. They are kind and understanding; not to mention the delicious food they serve. Always a treat when we get a chance to enjoy Mahoroba. They are amazing.
