The guy that works the counter is there almost every time my girlfriend and I come in.. his name is Nick.
He has to be the best customer service person I have met. He helped us right before close one night and he has helped me create some really great milkshakes. I love Nick and I hope he get proper treatment for his efforts.

Some reviewers on here obviously don't understand that it can take time to make a quality product, others don't understand how sanitation works. My overall experience was excellent, It was a fun experience and I'm glad we came from Vancouver Island and tried this ice cream shoppe!

Wow!! Waited 28min for two people ahead of me. Other than not moving along the process not entirely the kids fault. Not apologizing for the wait wasn’t a great start. Did not weigh the ice cream so ended up under 3/4full. It’s $19 for a litre and I wanted what I paid for so I mentioned the slight. Buddy acts like he’s doing me an extra and says sure I’ll top that up!!! Like are you serious, just plopped another scoop and a half on the top and said here you go. Doesn’t mix it with the toppings nothing. The whole thing was 32 min of which I got four of his half ass effort lol. I’ve been going to marble slab in two cities now and many years and usually it’s really great, well trained kids. Time to look into this or like many companies find yourself out of business. I mentioned the weighing the ice cream which has happened every single visit I’ve ever had, except this one, he responded “I guess it depends on who’s working” 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sad my purchase was freezer burnt and tasted awful. I bought an ice cream sandwich from the premade section and when I got home and tried to eat it it was disgusting.

Me and my 4 kids went there as we were walking in a homeless man approached my daughter asking for money I took my daughter inside and declined the offer when I brought up there situation outside they chose too not listen to my complaint and instead decided to tell me too hurry up. The staff was choppy and rude and made me feel like I was in a rush. There ice cream was melted and sub par for there price do not recommend

Always the best ice cream!
The employees there never skimp out on the toppings you add to it which the kids always love! It’s really nice they have “kids cones” for the kiddos so it’s not too much for them.
Employees were great and very kind! She brought over extra napkins when she saw our son had half a blue face from his ice cream lol. Inside was very clean and AC was perfect on such a hot day!

We went on June 29th, the young man working provided exceptional service making to a large group, we had a great experience.

This was my 165th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.I bought two ice cream flavours in a regular Skor premium cone (premium cone was the deal of the day) with chocolate chips and marshmallows mixed in.There is a bench outside, this isn't a safe or relaxing area in town.I ate inside on a bench as there weren't any tables. The ice cream was delicious, but I paid $11.11 after taxes. After visiting every ice cream vendor in town, that likely puts Marble Slab as the most expensive ice cream shop in town. The only one that might be more expensive for a cone is Purdy's.It was delicious, but it's tough to justify double digits for a cone.I wish there was a table inside.Staff was friendly and the store was clean. If you have a craving and have the extra money to splurge, come by!165 eateries down; 15 to go.

Staff is nice but it's a real turnoff trying to look past the filthy, grubby windows and door inside and out. Gross!!!!!

Apart from "feeling" harassed" by an ice cream maker, I noticed strange feeling in my stomach after eating their ice cream. I guess the ice cream touched too many surfaces before going into my stomach: two scoops, weights, the black (literally) board and more. Never mind that I paid 1.99 plus tax for a "premium" cone, but received a wrong kind - Oreos instead of white chocolate. Another funny fact: I asked for two flavours: bubble gum and cake. Bubble gum is pink and cake is off white. The ice cream makes asked me in which order do I want the scoops to go I to the cone, to which I replied that it does not matter. After couple of seconds of thinking out loud the ice cream maker(girl) put the cake in and the bubble gum on top. OK.
