The manager had to save it.... We were there for almost 20 minutes and no sever came or even gave water. She never came around, the manager did most of it, and the place was not crazy busy or understaffed. The food was good, the chicken was cooked perfectly, his steak was also bang on. The kitchen is great, front end staff need to step it up though, we almost walked out.

Our party of 4 enjoyed a fabulous lunch on Jan 22/26. I highly recommend the “Fish Tacos” which include a tasty side salad tossed in a honey- poppy seed house dressing. Irvin greeted us warmly and seated us in a booth. Mandy was our server and she was the highlight of our lunch, due to her upbeat personality! She took care of all of our (fussy) requests with a huge smile and positive vibe....adding in a touch of humour which we enjoyed. We felt well taken care of at the Vernon Mr. Mikes and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience....the food and the service was top rate. Do ask for Mandy....she is one of the best servers in the Okanagan. Thank you Irvin and Mandy!!

Saturday night 7:30pm we were the only table in there. Red flag. Walk out find somewhere else. Food terrible lobster served raw sent back. Burger looked like they dunked it in oil. Everything else just underwhelming. Much better restaurants in town. Don't waste your time. The waitress tried her best but seriously not great experience.

I don't go to restaurants to eat as they are overpriced under flavored and rude waiters and waitresses,
But 2 exceptions to the rule are Lance and Jolene, Both gave excellent service, never wanted or had to ask for refills on water, had fun with them both, could banter with them both, they work well together, definitely a asset to the restaurant, would definitely go there again if in their section,
My Go to Mushroom bacon and cheese burger place, also excellent fries

We had a fantastic experience at Mr. Mike's, on Friday! Our family of 5 was heading up to Blind Bay for our grandmother's 80th birthday, and decided to have supper in town before the drive up. Our server, Jolene, was absolutely top notch. As a hospitality manager in my professional life, it's supremely important for me to celebrate customer service excellence. Jolene set the tone with a golden moment as soon as we arrived, by wishing my grandmother a happy birthday and making sure she was settled and excited for the experience. We enjoyed happy hour appies: the lobster dunk, panko shrimp and bruschetta, along with cocktails (and a margarita mocktail for a pregnant me!) and our mains. Jolene took care in addressing my grandmother's dietary restrictions and made great recommendations for the rest of us. My grandmother loved her steak and my mom was very happy with her Cajun chicken fettuccine. From an operations standpoint, I appreciated how involved the BOH/Management staff were in providing excellent service, along with the various table checks throughout the night. That lets me know that they care about the level of service and make the effort to keep a well-oiled machine. We wanted to catch as much light as we could on our drive, so Jolene graciously organized our desserts to go. The food was what we expected and we were happy for the value, but the service was truly star. I know they've opened a Mr. Mike's in Kelowna, but I might end up fiercely loyal to the Vernon location because of this experience. Thanks again!

Getting the salad core in your salad is not a great idea or presentation. Food service and presentations are the gem of restaurants and being in the food industry myself I was appalled at the sight. Not even getting a discount on the food was also very disappointing. We were there for a friend's birthday and didn't stay for the free desert as we were not happy with the dinner, we received.
