My brother in law recommended this spot for a hearty breakfast. Our group of six were immediately greeted by a charming older couple by the name of Al and Barb. She does the cooking and he does the serving and clearing tables. The only thing better than breakfast was how welcoming they are. We talked to both Al and Barb. They bicker like an old married couple. It was more like a night out at Yuk Yuk’s. If ever I have a chance to go back for breakfast or lunch I would in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended.

A throwback to old vernon in this simple, yet loaded with memories restaurant. Old pictures and art decor immediately make you feel like your back in that comfortable small diner when you were a kid. Food was simple breakfast and lunch, cooked exceptionally at a very fair price. Highly recommend.

Mug N Muffin is an adorable cozy experience. The second you walk in you're greeted by Al or Barb and chatted to like a friend or family. The cheese on the ham and cheese omelette is measured by the heart, and grilled to perfection. This is the coziest ma and pa Cafe I have ever had the joy to experience. Al puts you right at home, asking where you're from, and supplying copious amounts of coffee. While Barb is in the kitchen, she still makes sure to check that everybody is taken care of. The at home feeling is truly the best part of this establishment. The interactions Barb and Al have with each other will make you laugh and smile. You'll walk away feeling like you just left your grandparents kitchen. Full and satisfied, in heart and in stomach. Visit this spot any time you can. You won't regret it 💜
