The food was pretty good and service was great! Very noisy with music turned up too loud as we came for supper and hard visiting family after funeral.
Food was good, service was cheerful, prompt and excellent. I was disappointed that our server wore perfume. The perfume left me with a migraine, which affected the enjoyment of my meal and lasted for the rest of the night. If I could change one thing, it would be for staff not to wear scents. The atmosphere, food and service were all good otherwise.
One of the better restaurant experiences I’ve had and I’ve had many. A bit noisy but the service and the food was amazing. I had the blackened chicken fettuccine which was absolutely delicious. One thing my wife and I noticed was how well the staff worked together. It was uncanny how everyone who worked there seemed to know what was happening for you personally. Very nice!
I give this location a 3 rating because of the outrageous price for a glass of white wine. I have never seen any restaurant charge $18.00 for a glass of white wine. When I commented about it to the waitress she just shrugged and talked about the prices of everything going up these days. I think this is just plain taking advantage.
If you are in the north end of Vernon this is an extremely convenient location; in particular if you have come down from further north you don't have to fight your way through the city. And as it in a mall parking is not a problem. We had lunch there and were very satisfied with the experience. We got a large booth for the two of us and prompt service. I had a quesadilla (with a side though no side was needed) and my wife had a southwestern bowl. Both were large and with lots of interesting ingredients. (The house-made salsa was a real treat.) Our only complaint would be that in both cases the amount of chicken was rather on the light side. These meals, with a couple of pints of house IPA with tax and tip came to a bit over $75 which we considered quite reasonable for what we had. We will certainly go back the next time we drive down to Vernon.
The menu has multiple choices especially for those people who want vegetarian options. The fries are cooked in their own fryer so they are vegetarian and vegan. The salads and bowls can be made vegetarian as well. The burgers were enjoyed by most of the people. Good beer selection. The restaurant fed a large group in a very organized manner.
Four of us, two couples, went here for lunch. We were able to sit in a corner "outside" under their gazebo. The pace was casual and a lovely place to meet and socialize. Since we hadn't seen each other for some time we dawdled over ordering and eventually my wife ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the beef noodle bowl, spicy. The fish was seared and not deep fried but since my wife, for some reason, does not like a fishy smell she passed the tacos to me and took my noodle bowl. I ate the tacos and the saving grace for the tacos was the aoli sauce which was spicy and delicious. Without it the tacos would have been rather tasteless. On the other hand, the noodle bowl, which was very spicy, was very enjoyable. The staff are friendly and wen never felt rushed. This is a great place to spend time together.
Fantastic service and food. Tired of feeling rushed at some restaurants. Love the idea of first come first serve. Loved our service and veggie burger and friend had one the bowls.
Stopped in for a burger and fries. Bartender was quick and took my order right away. Ticket time of about 12 minutes and the burger was decent, fries very good. Price point on the high side, but location was clean a d staff were friendly.
We decided to hit up browns on an evening when we had company. The staff were great, wait staff was great, location is very convenient as well. Food was really good and is always consistently good!

We came to the Interior for the first time and one of our friends had a birthday. 6 of us came for dinner the night that TBL won the Stanley Cup. The place was busy and fun and the atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had the Florida sandwich with Avocado and it was amazing ? If we find ourselves in Vernon we’ll be back!!!
Went for social hour ( their version of happy hour ) Ordered a few apples and wine. Great food, good prices and loved the atmosphere
