Don’t order the Eggs Benny. They were ice cold.
Laurie C. is delightful we had her for happy hour during or last days stay. The happy hour wines & the kir royale was delicious & we really enjoyed the PEI oysters.
We thought she was so welcoming we went back for an evening dinner in her section and enjoyed a pasta and chicken supreme.
She was very careful with my moms egg allergy which was very much appreciated
Food was okay, portions were small and steak was a bit gristly. Server was very nice, view is fantastic
Noticed reviews were very mixed and I was nervous but we had a great experience.
No complaints with food or service, amazing views. Shared Cajun prawns and steak. Steak was cooked perfectly. Wouldn’t hesitate to return for dinner.
For breakfast was blown away by complimentary options.
I recently stayed at Sparkling Hill and I have a lot to say about PeakFine.
The best thing I had from this establishment was their Huevos Rancheros Bowl (free breakfast), Chai Latte ($6.5) and their high quality assorted teas they allow guests to grab during the morning. The Rancheros Bowl was flavourful and very filling. My Chai latte was delicious and creamy. The teas were high quality and sought after all day by myself and my group.
This is where my praise ends unfortunately. The other things I ordered were the Matcha Latte ($7.5), Sparkling Eggs Benedict (free breakfast), Kimchi Chicken Burger with Cesar Salad ($29), St. Honore ($15), and a Culinary Supreme ($39).
My matcha latte only slightly tasted like matcha, the eggs benedict wasn't very impressive nor flavourful (barely seasoned hash browns), the Kimchi Chicken Burger had a poor quality bun and the Cesar dressing wasn't house made, the St. Honore tasted good but also tasted old, and finally... The Culinary Supreme tasted great but was extremely over priced and the broccolini needed another minute steaming.
I want to note that the two nights were were there, not ONE steak was cooked properly. The outsides of the steaks were done correctly, but not internally. Whoever is cooking steaks is cooking them at too high of a heat and clearly isn't learning from their mistakes.
I had really, really high hopes for this restaurant. Then menu looks great but the execution is poor. Especially with such high prices. I'm looking for fresh, strong flavours and decent portion sizes. Breakfast is fine. But that's mainly because it's mostly free. I would however highly suggest skipping PeakFine (at least for Dinner) all together and going straight to Gerni's Farmhouse.
Not sure why this place doesn’t get better reviews. Food, staff, views, and atmosphere were great.
Staff were very thoughtful e.g., suggesting to add extra sauce (no extra charge) to the tuna bowl, providing us a complimentary custom desert for our anniversary, offering to pull down the sunshade.
The tuna wonton starter was excellent, and the veggie burger, mushroom barlotto, seafood linguine were good too.
The breakfasts weren’t quite as good - very egg focused options (e.g., no oatmeal type option and no real protein in the smoothie bowl option) and just a few little things left to be desired e.g. the avocado spread looked like a store bought mush rather than a fresh avocado. But complimentary cooked to order breakfast is a nice inclusion!
Live piano player at dinner also added to the atmosphere!
We had two breakfasts and one dinner there during our stay at the resort. The service was really good, but the food isn't great. There seems to be always one weird ingredient that doesn't belong on the plate. The full breakfast and benny's were good. Breakfast was complimentary and we had credit from when we booked our stay. If you plan on splurging on a nice dinner, I think you can find better options at Predator's Ridge. If you want a nice dessert, I would recommend looking at the Barrique & Java Coffee. Their desserts were much better and for half the price of what you pay at PeakFine. We had a reservation for all our meals, so we didn't have to wait much to get a table.
Had free breakfast here everyday that I was visiting sparkling hills - food is quite good quality and filling with a great drinks and juice selection. Also came here for dinner during the last night of my stay but wasn’t really wowed with the menu selections - I would recommend sticking to the complimentary breakfast and drinks
For some of my breakfast meals I was lucky enough to be seated at a window seat and was able to enjoy the incredible views of okanagan valley. Service was sometimes a bit slow, especially being shown to a table even after having made rsvps way in advance, but overall a pleasant experience
Chicken tasted rotten. Food is so bad it's not even funny. Our server was absolutely wonderful though.
Food was really not good. Overpriced and just not good. Service was fantastic so I will give them that. If staying at sparkling hill, check out the Austrian Farmhouse, preditor ridge, or drive into Vernon for some food.

Ahi tuna bowl was good it just needed sauce. Kimchi chicken burger was great. Eggs Benny was great and cooked the eggs perfectly, loved getting fruit and dessert. Coffee wasn't great. Huevo bowl was good eggs slightly over cooked but overall good. Eggs and waffles were great but again needed some more sauce a little dry.
Overall good!
Food was great!! Would give a 5 start but can’t cause of the terrible customer service. The blonde server Melanie needs to work on better customer service. She was so rude and always annoyed. We stayed with our friends for 3 nights at Sparkling Hill, and were served by her multiple times and it was terrible every time. I get it, work and rush hour can be very stressful but don’t take it out on the customers.
First morning, anything we’d ask for after we ordered, she was always annoyed. She was a lot nicer at lunch time, but she was so rude to her coworkers who had brought out our food “out of order” Another waiter brought out our food and instead of just asking who’s it was, right in front of us rolling her eyes and all annoyed, she made the young girl take it back to the kitchen and bring out the other plates first.
At the time, we were the only table maaaybe two other tables in the restaurant, and my husband asked for a refill on his drink, which took forever and when he asked again, she says with an attitude, “you must’ve not heard, I was going to bring refills after all the food came out” as soon as all the food was out, her smile came on and she had become all nice again, and “it was a pleasure to serve y’all…”
Last morning, just did it. Our group was sat down but a few people ran late. She got their orders in and then came to get ours, it was rush hour.. again I get it - stressful, but her customer service was pathetic. She asks my husband what can I get you, and my husband replies with you can start with the ladies first, (because he wasn’t ready yet) and she replies with, “that’s fine, your food will just be out of order” and then mumbles “so annoying” and rolls her eyes.. I was just baffled.. didn’t say anything, waited for our food.. But once again, another waiter brought out someone’s food from our table and her attitude came out, got all bossy, commanding, and just sooo mean to her coworkers about it being out of order. Like who cares?! Just ask who had what and we’d figure it out, no need to get all rude and specific. We were all cautious of asking her for anything afterwards cause she’d get so pissy, and mind you there were 10 of us and everyone was talking about how rude and snappy she was. The men would always say oh.. it’s her again, here we go again..
The restaurant is great, food was always so delicious! Everyone else was so nice, our waiter at dinner was very kind, no issues, but Melanie just did it every time with her attitude.
Simply put, not worth the time and money. If you are staying at the resort there is very little option for dinner. Plan ahead and bring takeout. German restaurant next door is a much better option. If staying for more than one night I highly recommend bringing takeout for the first night and enjoy the spa amenities.
This was my second stay at sparkling hills resort. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pools and sauna were great and relaxing. The unfortunately the rooms aren’t great and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Also, I had wanted to watch tv to fall asleep but the tv was old and didn’t work properly. The peak fine restaurant is absolutely awful. While the waitress’s are lovely the food is disappointing. The first night I ordered the steak which came out undercooked and everything was cold. I sent it back and they just put it back on the grill so it was burnt on the outside and still undercooked on the inside. I tried the mushroom burger the second night and it’s just a burger with mushrooms on it, nothing else, and the driest burger I’ve ever eaten. Breakfasts were a bit better but don’t order orange juice as they serve you pre-poured juice that sits out by the coffee so it’s warm and separated. The spa treatment was nice and the lady doing my treatment was very good. I would go there for the spa and saunas again but it’s worth the drive to town to get decent food and you’ll pay half the price.
Food was very good as was the service. We had seafood linguine and steelhead trout and started with the calamari.
