contaminated!!! don't get infected...should be under quarantine..hosting guests known to be paid and around and caring for ostriches by CFIA Supposedly infected birds

Will never stay at a hotel that allows people stay who are culling and slaughtering 400 innocent healthy ostriches without testing them! DISGUSTING!

I don't think I'll be staying with Prestige anytime soon. Culling of 400 healthy ostriches is unjust, and housing those doing the killing is reprehensible. Further, *if* the ostriches are so contagious that they need to be killed, then why are they not in protective gear? The boots CFIA and RCMP wear at the farm are also worn in your hotel. Wouldn't that be a severe biohazard? 🤢

Room smelled a bit moldy.

We originally booked this hotel because they have a sunday brunch. It's also close to the casino. Unfortunately the sunday brunch kinda sucked. They didn't even have bacon, which is in our opinion a sunday brunch staple. We stated this hotel because of its location and as well It is in with walking distance for an evening out. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The front desk gentlemen, was very kind. We would definitely come back. Avoid using your credit card on the vending machines. It charges you more than it says you're paying.

Surprisingly a great hotel! Doesn't look great from the outside but inside is beautiful! Indoor tropical oasis. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

If I could give service 100 stars I would. The staff at the Vernon Lodge and the Cabana Restaurant Lodge were terrific. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here. The food at the Cabana restaurant was excellent. I loved the Rosti breakfast which was a large potato pancake with a few choices of toppings (I have the brisket one day and the avocado tomato the next, both were terrific). It was great to wind down in the hot tub at the end of the day. I just wish it was open a little longer. The room and bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay, we are from the area and needed to have a bit of a staycation. The only suggestion we have is that the pool is really cold. It was the main reason we booked, and we found we couldn't enjoy it for very long. I actually didn't want to get in at all, it was so cold.

Great for family. Room was clean and the pool was great. My kids enjoyed the pool and stayed all day long.
