I took a trip to Japan about 8 years ago, and the ramen there was my favorite go-to meal. Raku brings that authentic taste to Vernon. I would say they’re probably the best ramen restaurant in the Okanagan. My favorite is the spicy garlic ramen with a soft boiled egg added. So delicious. Definitely check them out if you haven’t already!

This is one of my favorite places in Vernon. I love their spicy garlic ramen, I could eat it for every meal. They have great happy hour deals on their appetizers, we love the Karagge Chicken and the Dumplings. The staff are always friendly, and there is plenty of seating. There are small tables and long tables for groups too. Highly recommend.

I got the Chicken Breast Noodle bowl that comes with Udon Noodles and the Raku Salad comes with it. It was delicious. Would recommend.

It was a little busy when I was there. That being said they took a little longer than I expected around 35 mins.
As far as the food goes ordered the Dragon ramen. It was overall good especially for the lack of options in the area for ramen. The ramen broth was a bit on the saltier side. I found myself reaching for the glass of water often. The flavor is good and the noodles were cooked well, although I wish the broth was thicker. The biggest disappointment was the chashu. It was dry and had a slight unpleasantness of reheated meat.
I would give the ramen a 3.5 out of 5 however google doesn't do decimals. I would say it's worth a try but not my favorite.
