We had a great meal and a wonderful server, Mirella (I think). We were in a bit of a hurry to catch a flight and everything was great.

Live music was perfect. Food was excellent. We had the striploin. It was cooked perfectly and sides were fresh and delicious. Mirabelle is an excellent server and we were fortunate to have her.

We had mix of casual fare and dinner entrees, all food was excellent tasting and enough to fill the tank. Beverage choices were abundant with a range of pricing. Cocktail prices are average even if I disagree on the insane pricing these days. Some great deals/features can be found like date night or other options. The environment is a mix of casual or more fine dining, for locals a great place to support especially in the off season.

Staying at the resort and walking into the range restaurant was a good feeling. Busy, clean, lots of space between tables - the ambiance was great! Service was decent other than the food taking forever to come out. When the food did come, no one was impressed with the food. I had the lamb burger and it was a let down. Others in my party felt the same i did. If we’re paying top dollar to eat at the resort, i expect better food quality. We had plans to eat here another night nut that was an easy decision and we went to the Austrian restaurant at sparking hill.

I had the New York strip and really enjoyed it. Other dishes my family ate were also good.

Range Restaurant was my 197th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.

My dad ordered the fish and chips and I ordered nachos.

I paid $35.02 after tax and an 18 percent tip for my nachos and Coca Cola sodas. It was $28 before tax and tip.

They don't have any two person tables by the window. Given how busy it frequently gets here, the only free two person table happened to be next to a vent for the duration of the meal.

If you are a group of 4 or more with a reservation, you'll likely get a beautiful table by the window.

My nachos were a decent portion, but the entire bottom layer didn't really have any cheese or ingredients on it. These aren't the worst nachos in Vernon, but they weren't the best either.

Because my dad and I had never been to Predator Ridge before, we took a walk outside after our meal.

My dad really liked his fish and chips.

If you avoid steaks and the fancy stuff, prices are reasonable.

Deep fried pickles are $16, though. I avoided ordering deep fried pickles because of the steep price.

Overall, we were happy with our meal but I wouldn't do the nachos again.

197 eateries in Vernon are now complete, and I only have five remaining in town.

We arrived week early for our rservation! Hostess was super, spoke with manager and the seven (plus baby) got seated. Food is great, pricey for us visitors from Serbia, but Canada is expensive. Anyway, our server Candise was amazing, so I felt compelled to write, because she took such great care of us.

The views here are outstanding and the service was excellent, but the food was absolutely terrible and that’s the nicest thing I can say about it. We were a party of six and every one of our meals were disappointing, a couple in particular were inedible. It’s clear most of the food comes out of the freezer or a package. A nice place like this should shorten the menu and focus on a few things they could do well. We won’t be back.

We were staying at the Sparkling Hill resort and on a Tuesday my husband called for reservations for 4 people at 6pm at the Range restaurant. He requested a nice view or near window. When we arrived the host was extremely cold and had a look of disgust in her face. She seated us away from the windows and view and I kindly asked if we can sit near the window and she said “No those are all reserved” I said but we also called and reserved and she said still said “No they’re priority” and walked off.. we were there for a few hours and those seats were still empty. We only ordered drinks and appies and went elsewhere for our mains. My waitress luckily was extremely nice and sweet and made me feel better.. but as I was going to the restroom I heard the girl say to the other hostess that she didn’t seat us where we requested because of the way we were dressed. I have never been soo embarrassed in all my years. TERRIBLE HOSTESS who treats you like you’re worthless. The best part was our server who was beautiful inside out.
