I used skip to order lunch and they forgot naan.
Working in Vernon I ate here 5 nights over 8 days of work. Have spent over 6 months in India and this restaurant is a hidden gem. The options are unique...panipuri, fun parathas
Start with a fresh masala chai in a tea pit with enough for 2 cups, try any of the amazing appetizers and my favorite was the palak paneer with naan or papadam.
The prices are very reasonable and the decor simple but welcoming with comfortable chairs and light Indian music playing. Highly recommend 🙏🏾
Ordered some butter naan today, got it dry, and was treated really rude. Was not even apologized once and was told i am lying about it and they put it on. I just ask to take care of these things next time, i did not ask refund or replacements as i did not had time to go back. Instead of listening, she said now butter cannot fly to you, if you cannot come back. I was very polite but was told that if you want to do bitching about food, you can, the cashier said she does not care. I explained once again that look i am not bitching about food, i am a regular customer and I was told, if you are frustrated, go to police and get our restaurant shut down. I have never seen somebody in customer service telling you to go to police and I am not exaggerating here. This experience was pathetic.
We shared the Saffron tandoori platter and while tasty thought it was a bit expensive ($26) for the size. The garlic naan was a perfect complement. The restaurant is unassuming and our waitress was attentive. No draft beer and I thought it odd there were local (BC) beers but no Indian offerings.
Tried the lamb vindaloo. There was only a couple of tiny potato cubes and a few tiny pieces of fatty and gristly lamb. Mostly just watery one-note gravy with zero complexity.
Best butter chicken I've had! super friendly staff, and it's reasonably priced. 10/10
Yummy food.. loved it..
Ordered Naan, tandoori roti and Karahi paneer. Karahi paneer was undercooked, vegetables were raw and could smell the raw masala from a mile.
Order chole and aloo kulcha, coffee and my friend got chole bhature. The service was amazing. The chickpeas were a little hard. The waitress complained then the cook came out. Everything had nice flavour. Will come again !
Nice experience of Indian food

The food was great, service was excellent.
Service and food were incredible! Staff are very welcoming.
I don’t often write reviews but after much trial and error trying to find the best butter chicken in town I can say this was the winner without dispute! This place is highly underrated!
The owner and restaurant staff were very friendly. Service was fast. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Quickly made it to my short list of excellent Indian restaurants in the area.
Excellent food!
