The food and service are fantastic, but I sat at the bar to have a pint while I waited for a burger and my arms stuck to it ? the coaster she put my beer on I couldn't even peel off the bar ? and they just opened so no excuses

Went for lunch. Walked into the place to a group of drunk bros yelling, swearing loud enough for the whole place to hear. Table had literal dirt on it. Same with our neighbors table, which was also sticky. Watched the bartender on staff slam back 2 shots in a row with the drunk bros. Food was meh. Won't go back. Shame. This place used to be great

## Review of Squires Pub
It's been a few years since my last visit to Squires, and I have to say, I've missed it. I hadn't been here since before COVID, but I recently dropped in for a quick pint and was pleasantly surprised.
The pub boasts a good selection on tap, featuring 12 beers including popular choices like Phillips and Steamworks. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed a nice chat while sitting at the bar. The place was clean and tidy, with no issues there.
I did notice that the small pool room is now gone, having been incorporated into the adjacent vape shop. Personally, I think a pub should have dart boards, but that's a minor gripe.
I ordered a half portion of the poutine, and the gravy was exceptionally tasty—definitely something I'd order again. Overall, I had a great time at Squires and look forward to my next visit.

Nice atmosphere of a local pub, good happy hour specials, typical pub food.
Great service, generous portions, and cold beer. Exactly what was needed for lunch! Conveniently off the highway and was a cozy and welcome stop on our journey!

Amazing food, easily some of the best in vernon. Love the vibe & friendly staff. Old pub with lots of history behind it. Most definitely coming more often, food blew me away.
Well that's too bad, I usually only leave good reviews but I feel obliged. 1 of our 2 wing orders was the wrong sauce, when the server was informed they made no apology or offer to replace/remake. Ordered first round well before 5 and didn't receive happy hour pricing on menu. Tables were sticky, dirty and wobbly. Will not be returning.

They don't treat there staff good the kitchen manager has no control over his staff do to upper management (Tanvi) controls it from surrey Vancouver and she doesn't have a clue on how to run a business like this.
