Every time I visit Vernon, I happily end up at natures fare. This time I grabbed a gluten free donut (made by Jaide & Joels baking co, I’m pretty sure!) I’m not gluten free, but it was DELICIOUS and had a great texture.

The Apple Bistro always offers a lot of Vegan friendly foods and everything I've tried has been delicious. Would give 5 stars but it is not fully vegan. The grocery section of the store also offers a multitude of Vegan foods :) Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I live off of the ‘glowing’ smoothies. Wonderful local business to buy healthy, inclusive fast food from.

Nature's Fare has been an institution in the Okanagan. They are a success because they owners really are people who are about Earth, nutrition and people. I'm aware that they are the first B Corp retailer in all of Canada! This is a premier grocery store for people who want to support local, organics and vegetarian/ vegan choices if you so desire. I love their great organic produce and their reasonable prices. They also have the fastest selling produce so you aren't paying premium prices for just so-so looking produce. The Apple Deli has so many choices I can't even list them all. fresh juices, smoothies, coffees, teas, daily made soups, sandwiches, wraps, panini sammies, entrees....... Nature's Fare is a great health market with many options for all healthy lifestyles. They have many gluten free and vegan products available. Although I find their prices a little high, they offer one stop shopping for gluten free and vegan diets. Their deli is another story. Although they boast healthy choices of pre-made food, be VERY sure you ask all the ingredients. Although they say vegetarian, there are often eggs, cheese or dairy in a lot of their products. Good luck finding anything in their deli that is gluten free and vegan!!
