The Bistro has a great view overlooking Swan Lake, but the interior could use a little imagination. The approach is through a rather dark corridor and a musty smelling elevator and is not a great start to a dining "experience". The waitress was friendly but totally forgot to make sure there was no bacon on our meal. The meal itself was really quite good (except for the bacon we didn't desire.) Overall it was good, but could be excellent with a little more imagination.
AMAZING!!! Excellent service, absolutely divine food and presentation, great atmosphere… Not one complaint for me or anyone in my family! I’ll be going back soon, it’s my favourite restaurant in Vernon! We love going here for special occasions, which are always celebrated by the staff and restaurant by a beautiful dessert… Wonderful!

The service was exceptional and the food was mouth watering and soooo delicious. Had the Cajun prawns for an appetizer. Main courses were Filet Mignon (done to perfection and melt in your mouth) and Pollo Italiano Linguini (fabulous flavor).

Intermezzo Castle was my 194th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
Today my parents and I visited this location. My mom ate her first ever filet mignon ever.
I ate escargot, bruschetta, rose wine, chocolate decadence, and iced tea for $60 CAD after tax and tip.
We came during happy hour from 4pm-5pm. We were the first customers for the day so we were seated at the table by the window with a view of Swan Lake.
My parents ate filet mignon, complimentary bread, cheesecake, sorbet, and risotto. Every dish was a home run.
I highly recommend this spot.
The staff were super friendly.
