Ski resort restaurants tend to be known for overpriced, mediocre food: this was a nice surprise! A bit of a different offering from your normal pub fare, great service, and reasonable prices! A gem!

I was coming here for 2 years almost every day during the season with my kids and a baby. They have amazing manager who could speak Dutch with my husband. Great staff with waiters who are always considered and even remember what me and kids order. It was way before loud big woman with long black hair who always talks over everyone about herself and her dog was hired. I’m having a miscarriage today with heavy bleeding. Dr said can’t carry anything more then 10 pounds. Kids had a lesson and event and I didn’t want to screw their day so we went. So my husband sat me and a baby and a bag to the same sofa we are always sitting at and went to the front door. Many tables were empty. Woman came to me and said they have a waitlist and table is not available and I can’t just go and sit myself. So I picked a baby and a bag, went to the front door as well as my husband and a front man were coming to the patio and he said there are tons of tables and sofa is absolutely available. She came back to serve is obviously not happy I’m here. Said AGAIN she has a long list of reservations of tables. I said sorry but we didn’t just sit myself husband was at the front door and got the reservation and it was available, we were given menus by the front door staff. She loudly yelled oh it’s not a big deal. Then I again asked my husband what is it with reservations again, he said he was there and was told it’s fine again. She continued yelling “I can still hear you!” . Ok? So I’m not aloud to double check with my husband if it was reservation? I walked all the way back to the door while soaking bloody pad and carrying heavy things then walked back already. I apologized I myself cut few meters because I’m bleeding but husband went. That didn’t make her happy and he continued picking with this reservation and bullying. I do not know what is her problem then. Whatever that is I hope she finds her happiness in better ways than cruelty on people who didn’t do anything to her and literally followed her instructions even they were unnecessary. I hope she will never know how it is to loose a child and never have a narcissistic person like herself around her.

Decided to come back 2 days later after having the mile high chicken club, Bali beef salad. All very good flavor combinations and great interactions with the servers. I tried a bite of the kids cheese pizza and it was surprisingly good for a kids choice. Today had the great butcher block salad and wife had the club again. Most servers live local on the mountain and my 7 year old loved watched the chef rocking out in the kitchen.

Great quick and easy spot to get a meal in the village. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered takeout because our party didn't wall want the same lunch and the staff brought the food out to us off property and actually checked back to make sure everything was good.

The food, service, prices, patio seating, were all great. A group of us had lunch here, and everyone enjoyed their dishes and beer selection. The salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp and the greens more sweet and bitter. The burgers, the grilled chicken, And sides raw really well prepared and high-quality ingredients.

Our food was really good, tasty, fresh and well prepared (Indonesian Nasi goreng and a burger) and the apple crumble was homemade and delicious, overall better than expected for pub food. The staff were attentive and delightful (admittedly it was a quiet night out of ski season).

We love this place! We took our company from Saskatchewan up Silverstar. They were amazed at the amount of snow and the overall beauty. Of course, we had to introduce them to the Bulldog, and they did not disappoint. We stopped for a beer and nachos, and I have to say the food presentation is incredible. We shared our order of nachos, which was enough to feed four. They were delicious. We will continue to share this venue with all who visit us.
