Now called the Rack. The Rack is in our neighborhood and I hope it succeeds. It seems the pub is still in a change over period and feels unfinished. More of a local country Bar than a pub. Country music playing and profesional poker on 5 screens. Service was most excellent, Beer selection is small but our house lagers were great. The food we had was okay but underwhelming. I realize that Is a vague critique but it was our first visit, we will be back and try some other menu items.Parking: Some parking but limited great for off-peak times.

I miss the old 1550's. No more colouring placemats and ice cream, so my kid is losing interest. No more dark beer, Monte Cristo and 5 alarm burger, so I'm losing interest as well. At least the staff are still good!

I was craving fish and chips, but the fries were so very salty, I wiped salt off every fry, and they were still sooooo salty. I told the server and they didn't offer a discount or make any motion to rectify. So sad and disappointing.

BBE. Best Birthday Ever. Friends took me to 1550's for beer and wings for my birthday. I love chicken wings and the selection here is awesome and delicious. Keith the owner wished me Happy Birthday and promised NOT to have the crew sing to me!Highly recommended by someone who's been enjoying chicken for five and a half decades and beer for slightly less. To star off with imidiate service. Placed our order got or food within a reasonable time. Wich was very good and flavorful. The service was sub par. I got the vibe from the waitress that she did not to be there. Didn't ask if our food was good and it felt rather slow when it came to grabbing our bill considering there was 3 people in the restaurant.

I was a regular customer for years! I moved away , but it was my home away from home! Great ownership, Staff and food! Cheers!Parking: Walk if you live close, car pool if you are going with others ! Bus route right there!Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant! High chairs!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs! All on one floor! Easy to manoeuvre around!

Went to the restaurant at 7:00pm. Didn’t get our menu until 7:15. During that time, we found menu online and decided what we want. We ordered 2 dishes and a chicken wing as appetizer. Didn’t get our food for 50mins, and after we told the waitress that we are going to leave if the food the not yet on the grill, all the food came out all together. This tells me that the food was probably ready for a while and they just didn’t bring it out.The waitress didn’t ask if we needed anything the whole time, and was very rude and impatient when we are ordering and asking for the bill. Flipped the receipt at us after we refused to give her a tip for her rude service. Note that this is my first time not tipping in years, I honestly can’t give her credit for this service.I would never go there again, and I would not recommend this place to anyone
