Best a&w in town because it has great hours of operation, an outdoor window to order food from without going in -perfect for people who have dogs, like myself- and also has the slushy root beer drinks that not all locations have. Also the staff are always super pleasant and wonderful. I’m really happy that Victoria has this great downtown a&w location now. I love a&w.

The cashier Raquel was friendly and efficient and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The restaurant was spotless, all tables wiped and clean and friendly guests. Thank you!
Food is consistently good quality, good value, where else can you get 4 scrambled eggs with real cheese, not the plastic wrapped processed cheese, but real cheese for under $10, come on, Staff are super friendly, and accommodating, go out of their way, really, the only downside about this place is location, meaning you get some unsavory characters occasionally, but even so they are minding their own business or sleeping, ohh, my only complaint is I ordered the onion rings one time and they were covered in seasoning salt, no, I mean coated like 3 coats, way too much, so I would rate food 4.5 stars, but they don't give half star ratings, also depending on time , cruise ship season, the line can be long meaning more than 10 people, however, usually not more than 5 , so there you have it, really good burgers too, extensive drink menu, but they don't have root beer floats, however just get a scoop of ice cream next door and make your own! The best!
