This place is really fun. They pride themselves on some insanely large number of whiskies (in the hundreds I think), and imaginative signature house-created cocktails as well. And if the cocktail isn't on the menu, no worries, they will make it for you and will indulge you as you invent something together. It has a speak-easy vibe with dim lighting and funky lights that give each seating section a different feel. Bring your reading glasses if you have trouble reading the menu in subdued lighting. (By the way Emily H's review about a drink written in Greek - it's not really Greek! It is Greek letters pretending to be regular English alphabet. Remember your math equivalences and have fun figuring it out!)

Fabulous bartender and drinks - extremely strange experience. Entrance is next to the Mexican restaurant (not where maps would lead you to believe). Entrance is speak-easy esque, but with zero instructions... spoiler alert: go down the stairs, pull the book that says Artemis back AND push the door... hard. Then enter... into a club? lounge? with cocktail bar prices, and rave lights, it is slightly entertaining, but odd. One drink requires a QR code to understand, another Greek (literally).

They also have a few cocktails for those of us who don't drink whiskey, and though they're pricey, I enjoyed the ones I had. I also like the idea of a speakeasy, going through a secret door to get to the lounge area. Overall I really enjoy having a drink here.

My wife and I saw this place one night on our way to another place and we just had to come back and check it out. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, a very cool place to meet up with some friends have some drinks and relax. It was our last destination for the night so we had several different drinks and they were all really amazing!Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a wheelchair Accessible entrance, the entrance to this place has a staircase that leads to a fake wall that opens into the bar area, unfortunately I didn't look around enough to see if there was a private entrance for wheelchair accessibility.

I went to The Artemis for the first time with my gf amd we had such a great time! The Scotch menu is transcended. The atmosphere is iconic! The staff was so charming. I will 100% be back.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Their whiskey selection is huge and the bartender was so knowledgeable. He spoke to my husband about everything he ordered and offered like 6 additional complimentary small tastings that definitely kept us there ordering more haha. My cocktail was delicious and the space itself (no pun intended) was well thought out and decorated! Highly recommend.

Loved the cocktails here and the "secret" entrance is super cool. Atmosphere takes you back to a 1920's speakeasy - dimly lit, velvet couches, beautiful bar. One of the best bourbon sours I have ever had.

What a hidden gem this place is! After about 8 mins trying to figure out how to open the door, what greeted us was way beyond our preconceived ideas. We were instantly welcomed by Vaibhav who was extremely generous in letting me try some drams from the ridiculously good scotch selection. I was really quite blown away at how fabulous the service was. Thank you, Vaibhav! My wife isn't a massive fan of whisky, but Vaibhav created a fabulous mocktail sour that she said was incredible. This is a must go place if you are in Victoria. We Wil most definitely be back soon!
