Yummy! So far my favourite hollindaise in the city but not quite my favourite menu (it's basic which has it own homey character too it) besides the prices that will never be beat. This is a must go!

This place is a must try. The food is so delicious that my kids ate on their own for the first time in a long while! The pancakes are slightly crispy and fluffy at the same time. The potatoes are golden and crisp on the outside and not dry on the inside. The staff here is amazing and this place comes highly recommended. A gem in Victoria!

Favourite breakfast spot in the city; the eggs benedict are superb and the pancakes are to kill for! The staff are amazingly friendly and never fail to install a smile on my face every time before leaving. Whether it's busy or quiet you'll be sure to get top notch service and a hot plate of comfort food. Don't sleep on their "spicy" ketchup, don't worry, it's not too hot but adds a nice punch to those crispy taters that come alongside your main dish.

It's a comfortable atmosphere where locals go. The food is really plentiful and delicious, but the coffee is so-so.

Me and my partner wanted to go here for Valentine’s Day breakfast, only to go downtown and find out they are closed for 2 weeks and there was no warning on their website that they were closed.

amazing place, great food and prices, quieter than most brunch spots in Victoria, and very accommodating! I would give it 6 stars if I could!

I just randomly visited here today and I think I found a hidden treasure. I waited for around 5-10mins and people more came after us.This restaurant is not fancy and doesn’t have ‘interesting’ signature menu (like some of famous brunch restaurants!) BUT, their foods feel like real ‘homemade.’ I could feel that they really care about even the smallest thing on their plate. (I've never seen a place that makes their own strawberry jam!) There was only one server working, but service was great enough and food served fast. I will definitely come again!

My favourite breast place in town and so underrated compared to some of the other big breakfast places in town. I’ve ordered countless times and never once had an issue or been disappointed with the quality, quantity it taste, and presentation is always nice. Highly recommend!!!

Came in for New Year's day breakfast. Made reservation for 10:00 place had space but filled quickly. Eating area is not huge, but just the right size to keep things intimate. Food was excellent and everyone in our group of 5 was happy with selection and size.

even though the lineup was out the door, service was fast and efficient. they took down our name and number so we could peruse the local shops while we wait 15 for our table.Service was gracious and kind. we were greeted with warm smiles from the server who amazingly managed all the tables herself and the chef. This looks to be a tight not, family operation.what was so special about our breakfast were that several elements were homemade. the jam, the bread and hot sauce! Prices were below the local average while portions were bigger! and no compromise to quality!Thank you Avalon, we will returnVegetarian options: vegetarian skillet is great.

My family and I came here when the Blue Fox had too big a line-up for our patience. And we were glad we did.The potatoes were outstanding. All the meals were 4 or 5 star worthy, the service a definite 5,Overall, I was between a 4 and a 5 star rating. I let the fact that it is rated 4.2 at the time of my writing guide my decision. I decided it should go up from there and not down, so I went with a 5. Had it had a 4.7, I'd likely have gone with a 4. :)Either way, we'll be back.
