Delicious Mexican food! I got the Birria Burrito with fries. I was accidentally served rice instead, but the amazing service fixed that up right away (also it let me learn that the rice is very tasty too)! Comforting food and atmosphere!

Came here while visiting from out of town and ---Omg. Best tacos I've had in a long time! The Cactus tacos and the Al Pastor were AMAZING!!! I love Mexican food and this place is definitely top tier flavour wise!

The food last year was fantastic, definitely my go to. Over the past year it seems to have gone downhill a bit. The fried beans are bland enough they taste like water topped with cheese. The fries they used before were thick cut and so good, the new ones are thin and not as good. I always order again in hopes things will change back as they used to be my favourite!

Fun little spot on Yates. Nice bright decor and seats spaced out for social distancing. Server was busy but managed to deal with everyone who came in - all with a bright and friendly smile. The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything that we ordered - from the soup to quesadillas and tacos. Huge margaritas too. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back soon. Looks like they do a huge take out and delivery business too.

Langford Location - This restaurant is Azteca through and through. From the super décor (they have a Tiki Bar!!) To the yummy food. Mindy rocks this place and make sure every customer is taken care of and has a smile on their face. You've got to give them a try.

I love Azteca and always recommend it to others looking for a quick, tasty, authentic taco in downtown Victoria! That being said, I have had the best experiences ordering takeout; always more accurate, efficient and delicious. Dine in, however, has always been a bit more challenging. The way the sit-down menu is formatted is rather hard to navigate - only reason I know how to place my order is based on past take-out experience. Servers are always friendly, but sometimes seem a bit short-staffed (by no fault of their own!). Consistency in quality sometimes seems to be an issue - I have gotten tacos with delicious, shredded/pulled chicken, while others have come out with cubes of chicken that tasted precooked/frozen... and the taste/quality was noticeably different. They also have some amazing house-made sauces, but you have to make a point to request them. I think with some more organization, Azteca could be one of the best Mexican joints in Victoria!

B-A-D, bad. Visited new Langford location (former KFC, sure miss that now) Service - terrible. Food - terrible. Experience - terrible. Opt for takeout at Mucho Burrito and whip up your own margarita’s. No hope here, trust me. For authentic Mexican, make the short trek to Restaurant La Tortilla on Quadra St.

Poor Communication- went for pre movie with my daughter. Ordered a chicken quesadilla to share, ended up receiving 2, but didn’t complain. They arrived with fries which was odd, quesadilla was nothing special, had to ask for sour cream which it was supposed to come with. Received the bill and there was an extra charge of $2.95 x 2 for the chicken, I thought maybe I hadn’t read the menu correctly so didn’t complain. I later checked the menu and saw that the chicken was included. I messaged the restaurant and I received a quick response asking fir my email address so they could refund me, I sent my email address and have heard nothing since even though I have messaged them twice since. So be careful when you go here, double check your invoice as this may be a common practise. This was there response initially pictures are attached showing my invoice and the menu. Good Evening Kath, yes the protein is included in the overall price. The only reason there would be a charge for 2.95 if something extra was ordered as an addition. Did you order any guacamole or extra protein? Please let us know. Thanks!!
