We ate there last night and I’m thinking it was a different restaurant based on the other reviews? Ceasar salad was a tasteless 3/10. They need a hole new recipe as everything about it was poor.
Service was poor, there were two waitresses, one professional and one untrained and new, for the whole restaurant.
Prawns and muscles were great.
Desert sounded like it was coming out a box from Costco. Plain vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet and cheese cake.
Overall the food and service was a mediocre pub. Hope they do well and learn fast in their early days

This is the first time we've eaten here since the renovation and new ownership. A few observations:
1. Smalls plates included the muscles and giant prawns. Both were great.
2. We ordered the Caesar Salad and objectively, it's a 3/10 with little flavour, hardly any green romaine (instead the veins and inner pieces), and tasteless white bread croutons. Blah. I had to request additional dressing and add salt to make it more edible. In fairness, the waitress took it off the bill.
3. Desert offerings were described as New York Cheese Cake, vanilla ice cream or Raspberry sorbet, an uninspired offering so we skipped it.
4. Service was poor. We had to move our plates to another table after they sat in front of us for 10 to 15 minutes without being cleared. We believe that they may be short on staff or that new staff have not been trained well.
We have high hopes that with response to feedback like this they will improve both the food and service.

Atmosphere is nice, the food took really really long to come. Too much dressing in salad and steak was over a bit.

I didn’t know the Oswego Hotel had a restaurant. Very impressed with their rib eye steak and frites, it was delicious, the meat was like butter, and the frites perfectly fried.

New owners Morgan and Barry are extremely negligent and irresponsible.

My wife and I had an amazing dinner tonight. The flavours were on point and everything was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this little hidden away gem to anyone.
Awesome little spot! Needed to spend an hour waiting for the ferry but wanted something more upscale and casual. This place was great! The waitress was awesome as was the meal (risotto) and drink (amaretto sour). Would go again in a heartbeat!
