Barb's Fish and Chips had very good food at reasonable prices. My friends and I enjoyed everything we ordered, and the servings are ample. This is a great place to eat if in the area. My only issue was the outside eating are was not very clean and it was crowded and noisy.
Best fish and chips / battered fish I had so far in canada. $19 for a meal. Choice of cod, halibut and salmon. The fries, coleslaw and the chowder are skippable. Everything else were gimmicks but the fish and batter was good.
Have to go with 4 stars only because of how talked up it was - I can't say it was the best fish and chips in town. But, they were very good and I do recommend if you're in the area.
