Wonderful ambiance in the well decorated classic 19th century luxury building. Drinks excellent. Cobb salad was excellent, too much to eat. Bard salad was good but not substantial. No vegan options in the MAIN menu. Only 2 vegan items in the HANDHELDS, SOUPS AND SALADS menu (both were salads). Overall a great environment.

Best burger in Victoria and I stand by that! Service is top tier, the atmosphere is magical, and the food is amazing. A wide range of options on the menu as well as on their drink menu. Definitely recommend stopping in.

What a find! We happened to walk by and saw this beautiful building. Turns out it was the restaurant Bard and Banker. We made a reservation and we were so pleased! Outstanding food, excellent service and fun atmosphere. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Gorgeous outside architecture and inside. Was once a bank. We highly recommend this restaurant!

What a fun way to spend Christmas Eve !! we had booked tickets to go on a carriage ride and this was the perfect start. There were four adults and one child and everyone was able to find something that sounded good on the menu. The bar service was a bit slow, but it was ridiculously crowded, so no problem there. They even went so far as to prepare us hot chocolate to go!  our server, Julia, was wonderful!
Food was average. French fries were unremarkable. Black bean burger had too much cumin. Fish and chips were greasy. Men's room smell was worse than most dive bars. Overall disappointing. Service was good.

The food was awful. Four meals were not great. The lobster roll lacked lobster. The pork belly bites on the flat bread pizza were not cooked. The burgers with pork belly were awful. The tiramisu was disgustingly sour and off. Not a good night. One meal of 4 was partially eaten.
