We were surprised to find a pub with so many gluten free options! Bartholomew's has a dedicated GF fryer and has lots of options on the menu that are all clearly marked. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had the loaded potato skins, fish & chips, and chicken parmesan (not GF). Everything was fantastic!

Had a wonderful experience with friends at Bart’s yesterday! Our server Kailea was incredible, she was funny, attentive, and kind. She recommended the salmon burger and tomato soup which I am happy I got because it was delicious! Thank you Kailea for such a great experience, we will be back!

updating my review from 5 to 3 stars. Used to go here in the early 2000's every week (often twice). You could just go in, sit where you wanted and relax. Go here maybe once a year now. People are generally nice but since covid they've done this regimented seating policy and they're quite aggressive if you have the audacity to try and seat yourself. Seems to be more on how they manage their flow rather than customer experience. Anyhow, my friends and I just to go Garricks where they know us and we can just walk in and sit down at any table without permission. like a pub should be.
Barts is great, affordable food, good selection of drinks, lots of menu items are Gluten free or can be made gluten free.

The restaurant and bar below the hotel is excellent. I was always pressed for time during the two days I stayed at the hotel in Victoria, playing golf, but I had a chance to visit on the last evening. My husband was happy because he found his favorite ale, and I was satisfied with the food that was better than I expected. I definitely recommend you to visit.
