Great option in Victoria for a later dinner, just wish we didnât miss trivia which runs on Tuesday evenings!

We came here twice during our stay at the doubletree. TLDR; Good pub, not so good restaurant.
The first was for drinks. That was great. The beer and whiskey was good, and the bartenders fast and friendly. I tried the Buskers triple barrel. They had to find and open the bottle... and it was a move smooth sipping whisky.
We had lunch the next day here. That was not so good. The Barts burger was very average. The soup of the day - minestrone - was not typical but was flavored nicely. The fish and chips were bland but crispy. My wife ordered a side of gravy - DO NOT DO THIS. The gravy had a weird flavor, and we were charged $4 for a little bowl. It wasn't a very satisfying meal for $56 between the two of us. The service was also a bit slow.

We waited forever at the door (with no line), took 10 minutes to get a drink (where he grabbed our food order in the same visit), and then didnât see the server again until I asked for the bill. The pizza we ordered to share was nothing short of a DISAPPOINTMENT. The âcrustâ of the pizza was a walmart garlic crust, with the thinnest layer of pizza sauce, and a pittance of cheese (IT WAS A CHEESE PIZZA). It tasted like cardboard soaked in sugar water. They also charged me $2.00 for a tablespoon dollop of western family bottled quality ranch. The server did not tell me the ranch was an extra charge, because if he did I would have not got it. We were excited to check out a local spot but we will never ever go back. Shame this business is in such a beautiful building.

We had a lovely GLUTEN FREE fish and chips that was crispy (dedicated fryer) and a tasty spinach dip with corn chips. This is a great cozy pub, with pleasant service. It was quiet on a holiday lunch when we were there but Iâm sure on. Weekday evening with special events itâs a happening place.

Service was good and server was very nice. Worst hamburger I've ever had... a hamburger should not be dry and crispy! I was told they have to cook it to that temperature (aka burnt). Won't be a repeat visit.

Came here because of location and lots of gluten-free options. The atmosphere is super cool and the two servers we spoke to were kind and friendly. The gf calamari and wings were okay and didnât taste very fresh - could have been an off day. The burger was exactly what youâd expect for a pub burger and cripsy coated fries. Still a great place to go to for a beer and apps.
