BC Legislative Dining Room

Immense History to be enjoyed in here. The menu is an appropriate selection to accommodate most any diet/palate. Our waitress was odd to be very polite, and she made faces at every single order point; however she did her job efficiently, just not very welcoming or nice about it. The food was fresh, well made, and of high quality. Great experience due in large part to sitting with members of government and all of the history and photos in there. The security procedure is quick and easy.

Well, honestly food is only very so so (we had Steak, Steak sandwich, Italian sausage penne - not even remembered to take photos of them😅）
Come here maybe just for the experience of having lunch inside the Parliament building.

We tried to make reservations 2 days in a row. In the morning, they only take reservations by phone between 8:30 and 11:30. If you try to make a reservation, the phone rings several times and then comes on with a message telling you that they only accept reservations by phone until 11:30 because after that they're too busy. I called at 11:00 and then we walked over, spoke to a security guard. When we told him our experience he told us that he hears this a lot. I guess in the public sector it's an acceptable way to treat patrons.

Server was nice and attentative, individual who initially greeted in the front seemed a bit annoyed when I asked to change tables, a bit too stuck up.

Great place for a unique, historic dining experience. Ideal place to have breakfast if you are visiting Victoria. A bit awkward to get into the dining room, you must show ID and go through security.

Classic and formal layout, a little tricky to access. Good price, tasty food and lovely staff. Make sure to bring your ID

Was a very nice breakfast. Small difficulties finding the dining room. You will need to leave a picture of and go through a metal detector to enter the restaurant.

Food is great! Very fancy dining room, similar to a cruise's dining room! Definitely worth visiting. P.S reservations are a MUST, this place gets really busy! Atmosphere is great!

Hidden gem!! Hard to book but worth the effort. Will definitely dine here again if I'm in Victoria.
