Excellent food. I got a warm toddy tonic and nettle ravioli that I'll be craving again for the rest of my life.

I went there for my birthday yesterday. The server was nice, and we got a table right away. I ordered the BBQ burger with a side salad. My husband ordered the same, but his side was the potatoes. His potatoes were cold. The burger was good. It needed more jalapeño. But the side salad had way too many alfalfa sprouts. It took up the whole salad and it was not enjoyable. The salad had no taste. It felt like it had no dressing on it. My daughter ordered potatoes. They were cold, so they went back and she got new hot ones, but the new ones had no flavour, no spice. I spent 8 dollars on food she wouldn’t eat. My sons loved their meal. Taco was delicious, says my son. I would not recommend or go back.

Wheat-free, sugar-free, vegan. Perfect for me. I had the quesadillas with a curry soup and my partner had a Mac and cheese bowl. All of it wonderful. If you have room, also try the fudge.
Be Love has exactly what I look for in a dining experience! Plant forward, clean food that makes you feel good, unique and seasonal offerings, in a slightly more upscale environment than you can usually find as a vegan. Standouts were the quesadilla, the seasonal soup (a potato & pea curry), and the green bowl. Ask for a side of the house hot sauce! I didn’t get to try the desserts but they looked amazing as well. I managed to convince my omnivorous family to dine here with me and unfortunately they were less impressed, so I will caution that those whose palettes are accustomed to more salty, oily food may find the dishes here lacking flavour. I, however, was very impressed!
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is incredibly nourishing yet packed with flavor, and the portion sizes are just right—hearty and satisfying without being too much. I’m completely hooked on their “ginger ale”; it’s both healthy and refreshingly delicious. Also, their homemade hot sauce is super tasty—definitely a must-try!

The whole experience filled energy in me - Food, Dylan's hospitality & the spiritual ambience, it filled me up to take an easy late night drive to Nanaimo! Dylan brought us food with such warmh! He really cared for us! Do not miss Be Love in your Victoria trip! Trust me it will energize you!!

The food was ok but nothing special (hamburger bun was too hard). The place is small and you really feel packed. There are too many tables placed to be comfortabel. You're actually sitting right next to your neighbors so you can hear every conversation. It also makes the place very loud to enjoy a good dinner and conversation. That was very disappointing.

I visited on July 24th on a Victoria day trip. I was excited to come try this spot after doing a quick search for good vegan spots in Victoria after my ferry landed on the island.
I ordered the BBQ Tempeh sandwich with roasted potatoes, and I was so disappointed in my choice.
The Focaccia bread was overwhelmingly dry, and the proportion of it made up what felt like 70% of the sandwich. When I bit into it, I just had a mouthful of crumbly texture with barely any flavor. The tempeh consisted of 2 strips that I could barely taste, and one of them fell out easily after a few bites. I had to ask for extra cashew cheese sauce to provide any flavor to the sandwich. It helped considerably but still didn't save the experience.
The roasted potatoes were enjoyable, but their portion size felt a bit low when compared to similar offerings from other vegan restaurants that I have visited across Vancouver.
I have been vegan for 8 years now and that was my 2nd most disappointing vegan experience. I also have 7 years of professional cooking experience and understand that sometimes the kitchen staff or ingredients are just off some days.
Would I ever give them a second shot? If I was a local, maybe, but with other reliable places nearby, it would make that decision difficult.

Amazing food and even lovier staff.
Such a great spot in Victoria for a tasty, nourishing meal. I'm not vegan but Be Love is one of my top places to eat in Victoria. The food is so good (shoutout to the Mac) and I'm always impressed with what they come up with, without meat, dairy or gluten. They also have some pretty good cocktails and the best vegan cheezecake I've ever had!

Be Love offers a creative menu with top quality vegan food in a restaurant that combines classy with casual. This is one of my favorite places in the stretch of top restaurants from Portland to Victoria/Vancouver.
