I love this place. Idk what about, but if I had to guess it would be the coffee masters/baristas, and the dark flavor of espresso. Everyone is just so friendly, the food is always great. I never take a pic of my food, it I guess I’ll start to share.

I'd give it 5 if it were consistent. It is at times the best café in Victoria and the rest of the time so-so. Beans, spices and baked goods are all very good, prep is hit and miss.

The coffee is first-rate, the sandwiches are tasty, and the staff is friendly. The whole place has a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the café (and possibly the entire block) seems to have a rodent problem.

Great small coffee place out of the tourist zone. Excellent pipaple brand muffin and home made chai latte.

It's been awhile since we stopped in and the experience was 5 star. Customer service at the till was welcoming and engaging. My husband's chai was very good and my soy English breakfast latte was steamed to perfection. Our ginger cookie was a a perfect treat. We truly appreciated the experience.

Cozy vibes and a beautiful interior.
Unfortunately, the coffee really disappointed me on both occasions. My Americano was completely watery on both visits - perhaps it was bad luck, but an Americano this diluted seems under-extracted. The sour aftertaste doesn’t help.
The artichoke vegetable sandwich was better - amazing panini in style, but at $12.75 I’d expect more than just barebones portioning. Feels somewhat gimmicky for the fillings to be that minimal at that price, in all honesty.
I would love to leave a more positive review, but have to be honest given the many satisfying coffee options within walking distance or next door. Thank you for the great service, nonetheless!

Bean Around the World in Victoria is an absolute delight for true coffee lovers. Their Americano is top-notch — balanced extraction, full-bodied yet clean on the palate, with a satisfying crema and just the right acidity that speaks to expertly roasted beans. You can taste the craftsmanship in every cup.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with that perfect mix of warmth and lively energy that makes you want to linger. It’s often quite busy — a clear reflection of their consistent quality and loyal following. Whether you’re after a quick espresso fix or a relaxed coffee break, this spot truly delivers.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine, skillfully prepared coffee served in a welcoming space.

I went to Bean Around the World for the first time the other day and had a great experience! I got a cheese scone which was amazing (made me want to order another one) and a pumpkin pie chai latte which wasn’t my favourite thing, but I have a feeling I’d enjoy their coffee more. It was a little difficult to get around the shop with the amount of people in it and how the tables were set up… but other than that it was a lovely experience and I can see myself coming back here to try again! (Especially for those scones).

Second in the queue while some guy took ages to order. No biggie, selection is huge. Apparently I was queuing the wrong side of the cash. Barista knew I was there. Two people came in after me and the barista made me go to the back of the queue.
