How could I not enjoy a Killaloe Sunrise Beavertail while walking in downtown Victoria. They prepared my classic flat Canadian doughnut fresh and helped wrap it as to travel safely back to the hotel. Friendly staff and I am sad there is so few Beavertail stores around.

Went on Sunday to Victoria with the idea of trying Beaver Tails, as they were recommended to us by locals. We checked the opening hour online before going as well as their social media in case they were closed for the holidays. Everything said it would be open in the evening. We got there and it was closed. Went back a couple of hours later and it was still closed. We tried calling multiple times, no answer. Very disappointing.

Had a really good treat. goodWarm, crispy, and absolutely delicious.
They customized just the way I like, and every bite is pure comfort food.

Stopped by BeaverTails in Victoria late at night and decided to try two of their hot chocolates — pistachio and Oreo. Overall, the experience was semi-decent, but not quite what I was hoping for.

I was expecting the hot chocolates to be at least fairly hot, but both were more on the lukewarm side. The pistachio hot chocolate, in particular, was a bit bland and lacked that rich, nutty flavor I was looking forward to. On the other hand, the Oreo hot chocolate was noticeably better — sweeter, more flavorful, and more enjoyable overall.

That said, the place itself has a fun, casual vibe and works well as a late-night stop when you’re craving something sweet. It’s a decent spot to check out, but I’d likely stick to the Oreo option next time or try one of their classic treats instead.

It’s BeaverTails - you know what you’re getting! But the recent run of seasonal flavors has been very good. This location is both small and busy, so they have a tendency to run out of things - it’s good to have a second and third choice ready. The seating is also extremely limited - two sidewalk tables with a total of four chairs last time we were there, so you may need to take a bit of a walk to find a place to sit if there’s a ship in port. But if you’re coming from one of those ships and this is your only time visiting Canada, it’s worth the hassle - other countries are woefully lacking in similar establishments, particularly the U.S.

whenever we're in victoria, my friends never stop for me to get a beaver tail here. not sure what it is. maybe they have some kind of phobia. anyway, when i do eat here its always great—sloppy, crispy edges soft middle, and delicious.

Spent the weekend in Victoria so I had to come try a beaver tail. Omg it was so good, my mouth is watering as I’m writing this lol. I got the banarama and my brother got the mehple. Bananrama was way better!! It tastes similar to a donut/ funnel cake

We got the BrWOWnie and Strawberry Cheesecake and they were amazing! Though I definitely preferred the brownie one more. Definitely wanted to try their pistachio one too though but didn't get the chance.

The fried dough base was delicious! Crisps on the edges, and soft in the middle.

The brownie consist of chocolate hazelnut spread, then topped with warm brownie chunks, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

The strawberry cheesecake one is layered with cream cheese frosting, a drizzle of strawberry sauce, and generous chunks of graham cracker crumble.

Service was neutral, and ambiance was great!

My trip to Canada was short. Before we even docked, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. My son had his heart set on a BeaverTail, and I couldn’t wait for some poutine , crispy fries, gravy, and just the right amount of cheese.

Excellent sweet treats. It's similar to an elephant ear with toppings of your choice. Ate 2 of them over a couple days. A bit messy, though tasty

We didn’t have very long to explore Victoria on our recent cruise, but we were on a hunt for poutine. Luckily, my wife saw a sign for this place as we were exploring. They have several options for poutine, but we went with the traditional. They also have some sweet treats called beaver tails. We really enjoyed our poutine. The flavor was great and it was perfect temperature for a cool night.
