Beaver tails are delicious! If you are in Victoria, try them out. It’s a hole in the wall, so no real service or atmosphere but they are always cooked great, made quickly and have delicious toppings. YUM!

How could I not enjoy a Killaloe Sunrise Beavertail while walking in downtown Victoria. They prepared my classic flat Canadian doughnut fresh and helped wrap it as to travel safely back to the hotel. Friendly staff and I am sad there is so few Beavertail stores around.

Stopped by BeaverTails in Victoria late at night and decided to try two of their hot chocolates — pistachio and Oreo. Overall, the experience was semi-decent, but not quite what I was hoping for.

I was expecting the hot chocolates to be at least fairly hot, but both were more on the lukewarm side. The pistachio hot chocolate, in particular, was a bit bland and lacked that rich, nutty flavor I was looking forward to. On the other hand, the Oreo hot chocolate...
