Great fun, lively local, staff were really friendly and welcoming and the locals too. Had great craic chatting at the bar. Very reasonable, cheapest bar we ever came across on our trip, they take cash & card. It’s clean but looks different from pictures. I loved it and would highly recommend. We had a great night.

If you want to go to a bar that feels like home, this is the place. It’s a museum of sorts, and the staff will tell you all about it if you ask. The bartenders are lovely humans who clearly love their job. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for a great night!

As of tonight I normally love going here because of the regular waitress..."Johnny". Tonight at 5:45pm to 6 pm.. I was treated so rude and disrespectfully by a new bartender....tall full figured long haired blonde.. I am so upset..I asked for two sleeves for the happy hour.. One for me and my friend..as my friend went to go purchase smokes first from the local store down the street.. So as my friend walked in.. I asked her then if she then could get another beer.... She was very arrogant.. Then she said...She then proceeded to say.. "Well.. If you're going to have that attitude.. You can go!"... pretty upset.. Ugh..needless to say.. They lost a regular customer whom is a very hardworking "Indeginous" construction worker.. And I will let all my male co-workers and associates know of this bartenders rudeness and entitlement." Disgusting!!.. They lost at least five now that frequent there... I will spend my money elsewhere...along with my long time co-workers... (Never going back... And I am spreading the news)

If there's ever a place that you might have gotten beat up or gotten a pnut-bucket in the nose, because you didn't stop throwing peanuts(provided by the bar for free) this is the place for you!! Good service, super small, packed, loud, music can be played from your phone for a price$$$$. Locals, tourists, peanut shells a plenty, a million bras hanging from the ceiling, & business cards from aspiring typewriter and Walkman salesmen. GO FOR IT! Btw, LUCKY beer was originally brewed and born in Victoria, BC.
