We lucked out with the weather and sat out side in the sun however, even if we sat inside and it was pouring down The gyozas and the Korean fried chicken were phenomenal. I Highly recommend this place. Chad made the experience even better.

It’s just not it ……… one of the worst dinners we’ve had in a long time
One of the best food experiences we’ve had! Comparable to New Orleans and Nashville for the food, drinks and vibe, yet here in Canada! Amazing service by Nicholas and Dan - best food and drink recommendations- food (tuna tataki, pork belly lettuce wraps, cauliflower) was all delicious. Try this place!

A great spur of the moment choice for a drink and a bite! Our server Kate was on point with options. A few shared plates and a couple beverages.
Only downside was that it was a little loud for a conversation but a great place to eat!

Food was good but the menu does not list food ingredients accurately so beware if you have sensitivities or allergies. I ended up with a meal I could not eat.

All the food was great, Kate was an amazing waitress. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and even got some chicken on the house. 11/10!

Had such great snacks at Block in Victoria! The wagyu beef gyozas were crisp and juicy, the boneless beef rib lettuce wraps had the perfect crunch. Paired with a delicious local BC Seven Stones Pinot Noir for perfection. Super attentive service and friendly servers. Overall a cozy vibe, tasty food, and definitely a spot we’ll be back to. 🩷

Very unique menu, nice to try some new flavors. Very casual environment, loud and tables are very close together. We selected to go here for a nice anniversary dinner. It was not what we had expected. Casual dinning with friends would be great here.

Note: The concept of this restaurant is to order food to share, and the dishes come out as soon as they’re ready.
We had the seared tuna, the tofu and sausage bao, and the Korean chicken and the maple panna cotta . Everything was perfect, I honestly have no complaints. The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive, and the food came out quickly.

Came here for a quick snack before going back to Vancouver. We tried their Red Devil Calamari & Saikoro Steak. The red sauce for the calamari was sweet and tangy, perfect for the deep fried food. The saikoro steak was superb. It was flavourful and the beef was still juicy inside. The service was good and atmosphere is cozy.

So good! Rapidly becoming one of our favourites in the neighbourhood. We shared the squid and prawn bowl. Such a wonderful blend of flavours. Can't wait to return.
