I had a disappointing service experience today. My friend and I walked in to order two hot chocolates, and the staff member who took our order, seemed upset that we were only ordering drinks. When she brought the spoon, she threw it onto the table, and when handing us the bill, she did the same — placing it down harshly and saying in a rude tone, “whenever you're ready.” When we addressed our concerns during payment, she showed no acknowledgment, apology, or willingness to listen. Whether a customer orders a full meal or just a drink, they deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. No one should feel judged based on the value of their order. This experience left a very negative impression, and I hope the cafe takes this feedback seriously

Moroccan Chicken Benny is honestly terrible. The chicken breast was cooked until it tasted dry and completely bland. The onion juices soaked into the bottom of the muffin and turned it wet and soggy, which was really gross. This place wasn’t nearly as good as I expected, and I genuinely don’t understand how it has so many good reviews.

Excellent food! I have to wait in line for about 20-25 mins to get a table for myself. My order came in a flash! Lightning speed service! However, some of the servers were not on par with the experience which is understandable since they’re busy when I went to dine. The awesome omelette “Bon Jambon et Fromage” really did justice with its name and the maple latte was incredible! Definitely my favorite breakfast cafe now!

We had a delicious lunch here! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted amazing and we left feeling completely full and satisfied. The coffee was also really good, and the potatoes and bread were especially delicious. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

There was. a long line when we arrived at the Blue Fox Cafe, but it moved very quickly and the wait wasn't all that great (~20 minutes). The menu looked amazing and it was hard to make a decision, but the server was very helpful in making our choice. The food was great and the service excelent!

Blue Fox has that timeless brunch‑spot energy that Victoria locals know well, and the ever‑present line out front is practically part of its charm. Even with roughly a dozen people ahead of us, the lineup moved at a steady pace, and the wait felt more like a warm‑up for what was coming. Once seated, it was clear why people don’t mind queueing.
Breakfast comes out fast and flawlessly consistent, the kind of efficiency that only happens when a restaurant has been dialed in for years. They’re a well‑oiled machine from the kitchen to the front of house. Coffee and water never dipped below half full thanks to attentive servers, runners, and bus staff who all seem to operate with the same friendly rhythm.
The only small surprise was that multigrain toast was the sole bread option, but it didn’t take anything away from the experience. The food still hit the mark, and the service carried the meal the rest of the way.
Never disappointed, always satisfied, and absolutely willing to line up again.

Below average breakfast for an above average price. Got a classic Benny, both Benny's had eggshells in them which happens but still makes the experience worse, and the hollandaise was over salted for my taste. Brought this up to server and was offered a free coffee.
