I've been visiting once a month for over a year for a certain event, and it's always been so fun and such a great time. The atmosphere has always been super welcoming and inclusive as well.
There's also an immense selection of games to play and the food (especially the milkshakes) is delicious.

We arrived at opening and got to see the space before it got packed.
The selection of games is good but not huge; you can call beforehand to check if they have the game(s) you want to play.
The interior is clean and simply decorated. It's smaller than the boardgame cafe on Yates, but in a way that makes this venue feel a bit more cozy (which I enjoyed).
The pricing is also better IMO, at $5 to stay and play, and with snacks, drinks, and food ranging from arouns $3-10. I had a coffee and fries (with garlic mayo), and enjoyed both.
I also really enjoyed that they give each table and IPad on which to order. My biggest issue with the other boardgame cafe (other than their food quality) is that you have to order at the counter (and often wait behind people checking in or paying their tabs), which feels inefficient. This spot has a better system!
We will be back!

One of my favourite spots in town to hang out at with my friends. The total games catalogue is less then Interactivity. But I find the condition the games are in, the food quality, the vibes inside and the fact its normally less busy than Interactivity easily make up for that fact. Nick and Alyssa are super welcoming and friendly. Nick is awesome for explaining how to play a game or answer questions/give recommendations on games. I love that they take the time to make you feel like family and check in to see if everything is going good/smoothly and ask you how your games went.
Easy recommend to anyone looking to have some fun with friends while downtown. Their milkshakes are so good too, heavily recommend trying the Oreo Cheesecake one.

Lovely spot that you'll almost miss walking by if you aren't looking for it. Price can't be beat and selection is great. Staff are super nice and friendly and always have good recommendations if you don't know what to play. This is my go to spot to take people that are visiting. Their website is broken on mobile, I prefer the sundaes over the milkshakes. Can't speak on the sandwiches as I've never had them.
Didn’t stay to game but went in to buy a board game. Great selection, good prices and nice presentation. Fan of the library style / sliding ladder vibe.

Went looking for a backgammon game and was assured this was a wooden board. It's not. Plastic - no rules - not proper dice- no sides to put our pieces in on and off- no shaker - not what we expected after claiming it was a wooden set. I've messaged the establishment and no answer. This set will be good enough for the little children to use and destroy. I wouldn't recommend going here. I would have had better luck at Walmart

My friends and I come here every week and we always have a great time. Good food with lots of dietary options, good atmosphere, and an excellent selection of well cared for games. The staff are also really lovely and make for a very enjoyable experience! 10/10
