Went looking for a backgammon game and was assured this was a wooden board. It's not. Plastic - no rules - not proper dice- no sides to put our pieces in on and off- no shaker - not what we expected after claiming it was a wooden set. I've messaged the establishment and no answer. This set will be good enough for the little children to use and destroy. I wouldn't recommend going here. I would have had better luck at Walmart

A few weeks ago i came here and they charged me $10 for the entrance fee. Afterwards I noticed it was supposed to be only $5. I didn't have the receipt anymore so I had nothing to do;( I don't know if they did it intentionally or not. But I really love the ice cream sundae here, which makes it even more sad;(

Very welcoming, the drinks are really good and the variety of game on offer is insane. We are travelling and came here for an evening for a change and stayed more than 2 hours. Very special place !

This place is the best for your board game needs! It's open, bright and the owners are friendly and kind. Nicholas is super knowledgeable about the games and I would bet he's played most of them by the way he knows them. The vegan milkshakes are bomb! (Although I would suggest an alternative type of lactose free ice cream for the floats, as some of the flavors don't meld that well) and unfortunately I haven't tried any of the sandwiches yet, but they look delicious. This is my choice of board game cafe in Victoria!

This place is great! Quite a few games to choose from (Flashpoint ftw!), SUPER CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED, and the food is good too! I always get the rainbow sandwich as it's my favourite (veg & goat cheese). The shakes are delicious too. I love how you can order food from an iPad that they provide. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I just love it here!!!
P.S. I have food sensitivities (gluten, cow dairy, raw onion, raw garlic, banana, pineapple, nuts) and would just like to point out that there are many more options on their menu for me than the other boardgame cafe. If you have food sensitivities, this place might be better for you. You can customize your order so easily on their iPad. It's the most painless ordering experience I've had in years.
I really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and there were a few things that stood out for me that make it better than other places.
Having the tablets at hand, with a graphical menu was incredibly useful. It made ordering a lot easier and more convenient.
I also liked having the pitchers (that are difficult to spill) so there's no need to keep getting up for water.
All in all, the only thing I'd suggest is maybe a bit brighter lighting, or something to make it feel less closed in, and expanding the game selection a touch. That would make this 6 stars for me though as I already think it's awesome.

Super cool place! Loved the vibes and the service. I really appreciated having a chill place to just relax and hang out during our visit to Victoria. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and came by once in a while to check if we needed help with our game. The ordering system is really cool, with the ability to just order directly from a tablet at your table. Perfect snacks and drinks for game time. ? We ended up buying the game that we played, as they have many games available for purchase also. One of my favorite memories from our trip! ?
