I used to come to Bold Butchery a lot back in 2020 it was one of my go to spots. I would drive an hour from Duncan every other day. The team back then had great energy, the customer service was warm, and the food quality really stood out.
Came back after a long time expecting the same quality as before, but the bowl was absolutely terrible. The chicken was cold, dry, and burnt. Fries tasted like frozen garbage.
Brought it up to the staff, and instead of taking the feedback seriously, the manager picked chicken off, ate and told us it was fine. Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
Ever since the new team took over, seems mostly South Asian now, the quality and customer service have gone downhill. This place used to be a gem.
Now it’s just disappointing. Not coming back.

I was in yesterday and ordered a shawarma wrap with hot sauce but no pickles. I have had many of these over the years and they are the best in town, The chicken roasted on a skewer smells sooo good and when all put together in the very thin wrap my mouth starts to water. Then I bit into it and I am in heaven. Truly one of my favorite lunches in Victora. Way to go you guys, great food, good prices and friendly staff.

Hands down the greatest burger joint on the Vancouver Island. The 2/3 lbs Double Cheese Bold Burger is an absolute must try. The AAA brisket patties are 100% Halal. Only nick was the fries seemed like a throw-in, really soggy and salty.
I would catch a Ferry ride just to have this for brunch!
