Went here with my mom after a long, wet day, and was immediately so grateful for this wonderful restaurant! The miso soup is incredible, and we ordered more sushi than we could eat because it was so delicious. It was affordable and all the staff was so friendly and sweet. Definitely will be back!

I tried the bento box with chicken katsu, California rolls, and tempura, and it was a great combination! Everything was well portioned and neatly packed. Definitely a satisfying meal. I’d order it again!

The food is just okay. I ordered the fried chicken bento. The miso soup is a bit too salty, even for miso soup, and the sushi reminded me of grocery store sushi (rice was not fresh and rolls were not well made). The fried chicken was alright, but the fried vegetables were cut unevenly so some pieces were too thick and still raw inside.

The food was great but the service and attentiveness was excellent! I'm newly celiac and the staff worked very hard to come up with substitutions to accommodate a strict gluten free diet and avoid any cross contamination. I told them let the chef decide for me and they brought out a beautiful platter of fantastic sushi, even decorated for the birthday we were celebrating. 10/10 will be back for sure (also the best pickled ginger in town!)

We must have walked past this place a thousand times on our way to Country Grocer, but when my daughter raved about the lunch she had there we knew we had to try it, and were not disappointed. It's not a large place, but the dining room was not busy so although we had a reservation it probably wasn't needed. We are not familiar with Japanese food, but our server patiently answered our questions. There's quite a large menu, available on line, so lots of choices. I had a bento box and my wife had a beef don bowl and we shared a tempura plate. Tempura was fantastic, perfectly cooked with a light crisp batter. It was a lot of food, and we were able to take home enough to make another meal. Highly recommended - you won't be disappointed.

Coming in early just a couple of hours after they're open gives that nice atmosphere and having those rainbow rolls or sushis they sell gives that nice and refreshing quick meal to have.
