The fish itself was tasty and seemed to be good portions. Even though the batter was crispy it was holding on to way too much grease/oil. My husband couldn't finish his dinner because of the grease and I have been trying to eat the remaining food in small portions so it's not wasted. The staff were very nice and friendly. If they could just find a way to prevent the batter from absorbing too much grease, then I think their food would be a contender for best in Victoria.

Tied for my favorite fish and chips in town with Red Fish Blue Fish. Certainly better than the two places at Fisherman's Wharf and elsewhere in Victoria.Place is run by friendly Aussie gentleman and his wife.I got a piece of cod and a small fries and the portion was quite generous (pictured). Decor has something to be desired, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food.Would recommend a visit if you're in the area. It's in my neighborhood, so I'll be back.

Used to be very good when, I believe it was the present ownersMom who ran it years ago. Now, the customer service is very poor .and the food is very greasy. Appears that the fryer oil is not changed very often. I find the girl who now runs it is very rude and short with customers. She was rude with me and I watched her bad manners with others at the counter. Their prices are very high. There are better fish & chips spots around so why spend your money at this place ! The food is never consistent. I certainly won't be back.

On Sunday Sptember 3rd 2023 my mom wanted to treat me to Brady's. I bought Take out from Brady's a couple of weeks ago for my senior mom and I. Our first time trying there and we were both Impressed so this time I suggested we eat in the restaurant, what a giant mistake that was. We arrive there was only one table used rest were all empty. A nice lady said just sit where you like so we sat and the guy waiter was chatting to the only other customers in there and took there order, proceeded to walk past us. so we must have waited 10 minutes for him to bring us menu's. My mom went up to the front for the menu's she was told to go sit down he will bring them. We promptly ordered and he left without asking us about beverages. So my mom goes back up to the front and he was busy talking to a customer waiting for take out, my mom said she had to interrupt to get his attention. I said from around the corner could I please have ice water with a lemon wedge. He said we do not have lemons. I said oh what a fish and chip store with no lemons. Well he lost his mind and with my mom still at the front he ordered her to leave the restaurant he decided we would not be served. He told me I was rude. So as I followed my mom to leave I stopped and said I was not rude and then he started swearing at me and I said oh but its okay to swear and left. My mom was so shaken and upset. She said in her entire life she has never been kicked out of a restaurant. It ruined our visit and the rest of that day.Dietary restrictions: we never got to have our lunch, so we never got to spend the money because we were kicked out and sworn at

I love fish and chips and I know it is a big draw in this city. There are lots of great choices and I have eaten most. This is the best, I have been going here for 12 years now and I have never been disappointed.Parking: Handicap close to door
Our daughter's request for her birthday was Brady's and they didn't disappoint. Food was great, server/owner was so entertaining.... $ was up but everything is so to be expected. We all had a great time...thank you 😊

My niece had the cheese burger and the burger wasn't cooked well done the insides were still red and juicy. I do not recommend spending your money here "It's way to pricey". Go else where......

Great spot! The battered cod was amazing. So very soft and tasty. The chips were quite good as well but I’d recommend not putting vinegar on them. They give you the option of adding salt and vinegar but the chips lose their crisp and become a little softer. Still tasty nonetheless. If you’re looking for a cool fish n chips spot this is a pretty sweet one to try out.
