Great overall experience for us. The Sablefish was phenomenal, and the cocktail menu was on point. Will visit again soon. 🎯

Bray’s is consistently top-tier when it comes to food, service and ambiance. Creative cocktails, beautifully prepared dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients, knowledgeable and attentive staff. I always recommend this local hotspot to all of my friends who visit Victoria. Do not miss this gorgeous restaurant!

Bray’s has quickly become a go-to weekly stop with my girlfriends — not just because it’s right in the heart of downtown, but because it delivers exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. They have an excellent happy hour. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you, no matter the day or time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent — and I have to say, their truffle popcorn is hands-down the best I’ve EVER had. Add in a charming patio, a stylish interior, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and you’ve got a place that feels just as perfect for a quick bite as it does for a fancy evening out. I cannot recommend Bray’s more.

I have become nothing short of a regular at Bray’s. No matter what time of day or day of the week we go, the servers are friendly and attentive, the food is always expertly made and so delicious, and the atmosphere offers nothing but good vibes. Centred right in the heart of downtown with a beautiful patio and tastefully decorated interior, I cannot say enough about this restaurant. Whether you live here or you’re just visiting, it’s a must go experience.

Short trip to catch up with family, and went on a food journey on the trips entirety
My wife is a great pre planner, so all the top destinations were set out in advance.
We managed to get to Bray’s mid trip, and were waited on by Paul.
I had viewed their dishes online, and none of the ones I was salivating on were available due to their ever-changing menu
Hard to please, but have to say that the food here was ‘BY FAR’ our best experience.
Each dish is equally as good as the next, and the cocktails don’t disappoint.
Had planned to go back the following day, but unfortunately they were closed due to their staff development day
If you are visiting or in the area, do yourself the favour as this is the MUST GO TO spot
Big thanks to Paul and the team. Wishing you all the very best of luck … not that it’s need here
Catch you guys next time around 🙏

I think this might be my favorite restaurant in the city. Dinner on the patio is such a treat - one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy a proper meal outside without it feeling like an afterthought. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of our fave spots in town to enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie board. They’ve always got new menu items to select from and they’re all deadly! The staff make you feel comfortable and are attentive! Highly recommend for bar service or chill on the patio.

Bray’s was a real standout. Food was 10/10, service 10/10, music 10/10 and the atmosphere? 11/10. My wife and I were visiting from Seattle and happened to come across this place. Everything about it felt thoughtful and well done, but still relaxed and unpretentious. Will be back!

Bray’s is located in a residential building. They close at 11:00 week days. They are aware that folks live right above them. I have gone in to ask that they turn the sound system down repeatedly to find the bar empty, except for an unpredictable agressive bartender. They have zero respect for the occupants of the building as demonstrated by their refusal to at least turn the music after “closing” hours. If you don’t care about disturbing the neighbours, by all means check out their venue, however if you would rather not support a business that demonstrates a complete disregard for others, I recommend you avoid this establishment. They just do not show respect for the community.

Beautiful restaurant, so chic. The reviews live up to the hype for sure. The gnocchi was my favorite dish, along with the mussels. Staff was attentive. Cocktails were well balanced with good wine selection. Will be back soon.

Stopped for some wine and tapas. Food options are limited but good choices and decent portions for tapas. We tried the zuchini, lamb and oysters. Zuchini and lamb were very good and oysters were ok quality. Good service and nice seating outdoor.

Great cocktails, excellent service and beautiful space. Like that the menu changes seasonally. Have been a couple times and recently the food was very salty, to the point where you couldn't taste what I assume was a really delicious sauce with the pork tenderloin. Portions are on the small side for the price point which is not unexpected for this style of dining, but something to be aware of if you're not used to this.

Lived up to the reviews! We came for an early dinner and were seated outside at family seating in the shade. Immediately staff saw we were chilly and turned on the heaters and checked in on us. Cocktails taste and presentation were fab. Dinner (charcuterie, burrata, gnocchi) all excellent. Great server from Courtenay. Will definitely recommend.
