This place is fantastic in every way except for how hot it always is during summer. I wish they’d keep the door open or invest in air conditioning. It’s stifling. Even the consistently ultra-cool and thoroughly wonderful staff can’t lower the temperature to bearable.

Great selection of coffees and baked goods. Seats inside and outside. Fast and friendly service.

There’s a guy who works here who needs to either be fired or stop smoking weed. The pastries are also stale.

I don’t normally write reviews but I’m going to. I go in all the time for all different things since it’s close by. Everytime almost that I buy something discounted they mix it up. Now for the 6th time when I’ve bought something for the 50% off they have only done 20% off. I have said when I get to the till it’s the 50% item and they still mess it up. It’s not the same person either which is annoying. Just be careful when ordering as everyone overlooks this it seems and I find it bad business.

Sad to see Bubby Rose’s closing all over town but so grateful the Cook St location is still open! Love grabbing a Coconut Latte and Quinoa Cupcake when strolling around Cook St Village and the staff is always so delightful!

These people can really cook! The food is delicious and so is the coffee. This is still the best bakery in Victoria (cook and fort).

No vegan savoury food. There may be a few vegan, sweet items. And the bread perhaps. Fine spot for a coffee break.

Pizza dough on my pizza slice was perfect, atmosphere was very cool, but counter staff were SO RUDE. It’s got potential but without better customer service, I’m not a fan.

Came here for some pizza. It was good and the price for the slice was fair! $6 something paid $6.75 after a small tip. They had gluten free or regular crust to choose from. Was tasty! They heated it up for me as well and staff was nice and friendly.
I got my pizza to go and it was wrapped up. If you dine in they give you a plate

One of the best cinnamon buns in Victoria designed to be enjoyed outside in the sunshine ☀️ on Cook Street.

Emma was most efficient, courteous, friendly. Was a busy morning for her, everything went so smooth. No request was too much for her. Lucky to have a employee like her.
Enjoyed our light breakfast!

Cannot recommend this bakery for cakes. I’ve lived nearby for years and have ordered for many special occasions but the last two times the quality has been terrible. Children could decorate a cake with more professionalism than the cake we received this weekend, and since the order was an hour late there was no time to fix it. Very disappointing.

I'm new to Victoria and this place was the first bakery downtown I tried

It was amazing. I highly recommend. The ladies that work here are hilarious and kind

Made me feel very welcome to the city and I'll definitely comeback

The way they treat their staff is abhorrent, especially in this day and age where the economy is insane. Shame on you.
