Food was okay. Service was okay. The place is dirty and needs a thorough clean. There are cobweb nests all across the ceiling, especially the bathroom, with dead spiders in them. It was off putting.

I love the atmosphere and the service quality. The latte with art that the young guy, Moein prepares is amazing. I recommend Chili soup too .

Had lunch at Bubby Rose on Cook Streetwith homemade sandwiches with vegetable soup special. Also one London Fog.Service was friendly and fast and food was fresh and tasty.Reasonable price of $11 per person plus the tea.Steady stream of customers about half to stay and half getting baking to go; a section for day old and two day old bread. Also outdoor seating available and a small bathroom inside.

The good thing here was while a lot of places were shut on the public holiday we visited, they weren't so we were able to grab a handful of pastry items to go. I was disappointed though, I found the crossoint really crumbly and a bit stale along with a couple of the other items we tried. The large cookie was rather nice. Kids didn't seem to mind. They have a bit of seating outside which works if you want to have your dog with you. I think they offer a number of gluten free items so it might work for those finding it hard to get specialty items. All in, it's fine, kinda cute mom and pop vibe, but there's a lot of choice on Cook St to make it a return destination.

"Medium" coffee is a small anywhere else - there should be industry standards. Their "large" looked like a 12 oz. Both coffee sizes are small.Unlike other places, no offer of butter for the muffin and not the warmest service. $4.00 for day-old bread, so I hate to think what they charge for the regular stuff. A bit more overpriced than most cafes IMO.
