From start to finish over approximately 2 hours we received impeccable greeting, seating as requested, super server and delicious 3 course dinners - beyond reproach! Well Done and thanks for your message exchanges re our later than booked reservation which enabled us to remain in queue for the requested seating. Hostess was incredibly sharp and a fine representative of Cafe Brio.

The food is outstanding, no question. But the service was a fail. So disappointing as it was our 18th wedding anniversary. In a word, rushed and bad timing. We did not receive the bread and butter basket which is a much sought after feature of every meal, and instead of a Cinzano (red vermouth) they served me a local BC version that was more expensive and not as delicious and not what I ordered. The appetizers arrived about 8 minutes after ordering and even before our drinks arrived - rushed indeed. Additionally, 3/4 of the way through our meal the waitress swooped in and tried to clear away my husband's pasta ... despite him not indicating he was finished (no fork and knife placed side by side in the plate). In summary, their need to turn their tables around certainly was their goal but we felt dishonoured and an after thought as their paying guests. Very sad outcome for what we believed was going to be a beautiful relaxed anniversary dining experience.

A charming restaurant with vibrant energy, friendly servers and delicious food. The menu offers a great selection of appetizers, light dishes, and 1/2 or full dinner servings with good value. High quality food and service makes it a very pleasurable dinner experience. One of my favourite restaurants in the city.

Cafe Brio is a favourite restaurant of mine. The food is creative, well presented and delicious! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are better than many other comparable restaurants. Plus, they have generous half-portion mains so you have room to sample some of the tasty appetizers and still have room for dessert! Make a reservation!
