Callisto Casual Dining

Service was good, food underwhelming. It was the valentines set menu, wouldn't go back for it at all. For the price it was disappointing. The only reason it gets 3 stars is cause the guy driving the golf cart escorted us to and from our car and he made our night aha. Shoutout to the golf cart gent!

I booked Callisto for a Valentine's Day lunch. I thought day time was best so we can see the beautiful view. Our reservation was for 2:00, but they sat us in a lounge type area nowhere near the windows. They said they weren't booking window seats for lunch so they could get ready for the dinner crowd. That would have been nice to know when I reserved. Instead we sat next to a big screen TV playing a hockey game. Not my wife's idea of a romantic Valentine's Day outing. The food was fine, but the atmosphere was more like a sports bar, so we just ate and left. The view is what makes this place special; take that away, and it's just another overpriced restaurant. We were pretty disappointed.

Be aware, on the dine around menu the Risotto balls does not come with sauce on top, so dry dishes unfortunately, the risotto balls have a good taste do. And the Chocolate cake, it is not like describe, it is more like a soft light to taste cake with a bit of coffee flavor. But The fish is an excellent dishes 😃 lots of flavours.

Fantastic meal! We loved our server, she had moved from Ontario four months ago, and we thought she was fantastic. Friendly and confident. The food was perfect. So good! We're getting married in July at bear Mt. And the chef came out and met us and had a chat. We were showing my parents around the venue. It was a really special night and made us feel really confident about our decision.

Noise level was loud but that was due to a large table behind us. They were playing music on their phone which was disruptive as well as someone was “attempting” to play the piano which I thought was disrespectful to everyone in the room. Aside from that group everything was amazing. Food was great. Staff were friendly like always! I'll be back :)

Everything was perfect for our Christmas this year. The food was delicious and the staff super helpful!

This restaurant is in a more open space and therefore the noise level is higher than we expected. We changed table twice as we were looking for a more quiet spot where we can have a nice conversation. We ended up seated in the lounge area since the restaurant side only had a table for two available right in front of the live entertainment which was too loud to have any conversations. The restaurant manager was very accommodating, understanding and friendly. Food was delicious and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, the environment was simply more lively than we expected.

We were 4 for lunch and ordered a range of items, all were excellent. Amazing setting and view. Highly recommend.

Service was not very good. Asked for a strawbtwice, from two different servers. Neither brought me one. We were not asked if we wanted drinks, when we were greeted by our server. We waited around 20mins at the end, after the server brought us a box for takeout, for our server. She finally came and asked us if we wanted anything else, we asked to order something to go and the bill. Waited another 10mins for the bill and another 10mins for her to come back with the machine. The takeout item came and was asked if we needed cutlery. We said yes. Waited another 10mins and finally decided to leave. Asked a passing waitress for cutlery when the other waitress came out and looked at us and remembered our cutlery request. Food was good. Live singer was great. Ambiance was great. Price was fair. Service needs work.

We missed the brunch as they finished at 12:00, but we were able to try the lunch menu and it was delicious.
The view and the place are amazing and we will definitely be back for another day.
The hotel lobby is beautiful and it was decorated for Thanksgiving. The staff was friendly and we had a great time.

Had a family gathering/celebration (approx 30-40 people). 3 course meal took 3.5+ hours. Guests of honor served last, and cold mains. Drinks only filled st start of service. Even when people flagged they needed to go, servers disappeared for 20-30 min.

I recently coordinated a corporate dinner at Callisto and the evening was wonderful from start to finish. The events coordinator & executive chef were professional and great to deal with during the planning/months leading up to the dinner. The serving staff and bartenders were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We were able to reserve the private room at the restaurant (Orso Room) which features beautiful floor and ceiling windows - leaving the breath taking view for you to enjoy! The food was delicious and cooked just right. The drink selection was vast and the bartenders made great pairing suggestions. The restaurant is inside The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa. It is on the main level of the resort and wheelchair accessible.

This restaurant offers a good view of the golf course, and the brunch menu is reasonably priced considering its location in the Westin. Tried the Wagyu burger (small patty), bacon omelette (a bit salty), and avocado Benny (nothing special), but overall the food was okay. Wanted to order drip Starbucks from the menu, but it wasn’t available. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re staying at the hotel and want to avoid driving down for other restaurants.
