I came here in a hangry panic and accidentally discovered an absolute gem of a restaurant! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup…it was killer! Didn’t know such a basic dish had the potential to be so comforting and satisfying! The staff was super nice, checking in on us every once in a while while not being overbearing and intrusive. We felt so welcome and cozy the whole time! Not to mention, the meal was only $18(before tip/tax). Well worth it and affordable for downtown Vic.

For the price, there’s better places to go out in Victoria. We unfortunately had a rather rude and disinterested waitress while we went last time. It took ~25 mins to get our first drinks served after ordering at what I can assume was a medium level of business for a Saturday night, and about the same for the bill at the end. Frankly unacceptable - I should have to sit and talk to my friends sober for so long (sarcasm). Also, the waitress, although a fair lady, was ‘letting the girls hang’ which I am all for normally, but it caught the attention of even my female friends. Perhaps it was cold, but I think wearing a bra should be written into the requirements for a professional uniform as a waitress. Yes, I am questioning my heterosexuality with this comment. Atmosphere is great, drinks too (although a bit $$). Cheers!

A New York style dive bar in the heart of Victoria. From the aged brick walls to the soft yellow lamps, this place has atmosphere for miles.. The food was tasty. I had the Margherita Flat bread for $14 and the Gunslinger cocktail for $16. I enjoyed everything about this place and shall be back for more.
