Truly one of Victoria's hidden gems, this place deserves way more traffic. Fantastic to-go drinks, especially their chai lattes and mochas, with delicious bakery goods. The sit-down menu options are even better. Prices are a bit higher than your average brunch diner but the food and service are 100% worth it. Cherries is possibly the best breakfast restaurant in all of Victoria, make sure to give them a try if you haven't yet. (And don't forget to grab a customer loyalty card!)

The eggs Benedict were really good but the service was meh. We were here two hours most of which was either spent waiting on food or waiting for the check. The server was very attentive to every other table so not sure what was going on.

The eggs Benny with onion, sausage, and havarti may be the best Benny I have ever had. The staff was very kind and constantly checking on us. Will for sure be making this place a regular spot to eat.

Under rated breaky spot

We got seated at cherries and nobody brought us waters, while we watched everyone else around us get waters without asking. We ordered our food after waiting for 20-25 minutes with nobody to be found. Another group was seated beside us, after us, and got their food,ate and left all in this time. We got our food and it was great. A nice lady came around after we finished, but overall the service lacked heavily. Server was not friendly and did not check on us once.

So, my review is based on an over the phone order and pick up. The food was fabulous. I'm likely not going back due to the Very uncomfortable front door experience. Whomever was working that day at the front counter did not great us when we walked in, did not make eye contact, infact completely ignored me for a few minutes until I finally was like "excuse me, sorry to bother you, where do I go to pick up food". It felt like we were truly a nuisance. We barely received instructions on where to pay, leaving me standing there with cash when she walked away finally to get another server who finished the transaction and was lovely to us. So if I was the manager/ owner I'd take that one person off the front counter because they did not want to interact with humans that day and it Really showed 😅 made for an uncomfortable food pick up. Not great service.

Incredibly overpriced for what you get. The food was not good. My girlfriend explicitly said that she was allergic to bananas and they put bananas on her fruit plate anyway. Definitely will not be coming back.

Really enjoyed my lunch at this quaint spot! Homey, comfy atmosphere and I was treated with such warmth and hospitality. And the hollandaise was great! Hidden gem!
