Not sure what is going on, but the last few times we have ordered the chicken has been barely hot, and the pieces have become so small it's like the some of the pieces are coming from cornish hens. Clearly they're not but something is definitely not right with the chickens they're using. This is normally my absolute favorite place to get chicken from but I don't know if I'm going to order from them again. I hope they see this and remedy whatever is going on.

Hit and miss. Chicken and wedges are good. Strips and gravy are mediocre store bought at homemade prices. Milkshakes are without exaggeration the worst I've ever had.

This is the crispiest juiciest chicken we have ever had. Not overly salty, but delicious nonetheless. We reccomend ordering the gravy, so great together! The wedge fries are like nothing we have ever had anywhere before. They're like beer battered wedges, crazy crispy outside but fluffy inside - again so good with the gravy. The couple that run the shop are very kind and friendly. We could overhear them chatting it up with so many regulars as we ate our meal at the counter inside the small shop. If you're craving fried chicken, try it here!

Hands down the best fried chicken they’ve ever had. My partner called to put in an order and sent me to pick it up. On arrival, I realized that they weren’t even open yet! I think the fryer was just warming up so I waited outside for some fresh air. The owner came outside to BRING ME my order. He was so incredibly gracious as I stumbled out 100 apologies for calling in so early.
Also, back to the chicken. We live a 10 min walk away and we can never wait until we get home. At least one piece is devoured while walking!

The chicken is good but forget the chicken! I order from here for the potato wedges. If Chicken on the Run sold buckets of Potato Wedges. I’d order that every single time!

Called for pickup recently, was quoted 20-25minutes. Located in such a nice neighbourhood area, right next to Banfeild Park which has very nice waterfront seating/ additional parking! Unfortunately no seating inside, although they did have a few patio chairs & tables directly in front outside but is located next to a fairly busy road (Craigflower).
Is pretty high priced, paid about 30$ for chicken strips, milkshake, and reg fries. But for quality, the chicken strips were large and yummy (came with honey mustard), fries very crispy(sorta greasy although good) and the chocolate milkshake was a solid 4/10 unfortunately had milkshake all over the outside so was sticky.. and no whipped cream or anything for 6$..?
was convenient location with parking, friendly staff, lots of other drink options. I really wanna like this place but wasn’t perfect?
Parking: Parking lot located right next to Chicken on the Run, and an additional parking lot aswell but is for banfeild park. Lots of open spots.
Wheelchair accessibility: Is all on one level, so no stairs.
Door was open upon arrival, which would make easy access for wheelchair users.
Front desk was quite high up i did notice, so may have trouble reaching, but staff were very friendly and would probably help/accommodate.

The attendant was unfriendly and their "famous" crispy ginger fried beef had more sugar and batter than beef.
Amazing chicken and wedge fries, make sure you get gravy to dip the fries in.

There is a good reason why this place has been around forever, and have a massive following. If you haven't had chicken on the run you are missing out. I can't really explain, you just have to try it. Fries are pretty awesome too.
Really don't enjoy writing this review as I have loved the chicken from here for years and have told everyone I know about how solid their product is. Normally the chicken is very juicy and bursting with flavor, that was not the case last night. I don't think they actually did this but for a description it tasted like re-fried left over fried chicken. Batter was rock hard, chicken was dry and tasted old. I ate one piece of my 3 piece and the rest went in the trash. My wife who was eating her own meal but is very familiar with their normal offerings thought the same. I honestly tried to take a decent picture of what I was served to be fair but every single one looked like this. Again normally it's delicious but this isn't the first time this exact same scenario with chicken that tasted the same came home with me. Not sure I will be willing to gamble again, I don't treat myself to take out very often.
