Dropped in out of curiosity and walked away a happy customer!A younger gentlemen took the time to teach us about their products, and his enthusiasm and passion on the subject was palpable. We got some cheese and a sausage to try, and will most certainly be back for more.10/10, A+ :)

So glad to have stopped by. The gentleman serving me took the time to recommend two amazing goat cheeses from Cypress Grove. They are so delicious. I will definitely be back for more! The cured sausages and chorizo were also excellent. Lovely little shop with attentive service!

Now called Bull and Sons. Still very similar foods but has a different vibe to it.

Honestly disappointed and frustrated when you rush to get to a place before close and they actually close earlier than it says on their website....I will update this review when you fix that...also the entire website is filled with placeholder text and no useful information. :(

I think Choux Choux has seen better days. I was really disappointed at the service. There were three people seated, dining. Two people having their orders taken and the two of us walked in. I asked if we can order take out. That confused the staff. When I noticed how many people were in their small shop, I ask if they had an occupancy limit. They pointed to the signage (4 people). That makes the current head count to be 7. I said in reply, "well we can't come in and one of them has to go." The staff replied, "they're part of the tour so no one can leave."

Wow. We stopped in here today on a whim, and I am so glad that we did. The quality of the meats and cheeses is amazing and the people working there were willing to explain all of the different options to us. My only recommendation would be not to go in on an empty stomach, or you'll end up buying a package of everything!! We will definitely be back soon, and will be purchasing our deli meats here from now on.

This place now operates as Bull & Sons. Yesterday, I experienced one of the most bizarre and unpleasant interactions I have ever had. Earlier in the week, I had ordered a charcuterie plate for an afternoon gathering. We discussed what type of plate I would get, and that I would pick it up at 12 rather than 11 because they open at 11, and they would prefer time to arrange it. I arrived shortly after 12. When I said I was there to pick up a platter, the man behind the counter looked quite put out, and told me it wasn’t ready, because he was “really busy right now”. I asked when it would be ready, and he said, “maybe in a half hour or something”. Admittedly, I was perturbed and shocked at his rude manner and at the fact that this would put me behind schedule, so I simply replied, “ok” and left. I returned about an hour later, and he motioned to me and put a paper bag on the counter. I looked in the bag at several wrapped items, and evenly said “I thought this was supposed to be on a plastic tray.” He then, with voice raised and in a very animated way said “You ordered a ‘Picnic’, that was what was written on the sheet, that’s what I made.” I told him I had ordered a platter and that I didn’t even know what a ‘Picnic’ was, and he again ranted that he made what I had ordered and stormed off towards the back of the store. I looked after him and said, “Are you being serious?”. At this point, a very pleasant young man came and tried to sort things out with me. As the young man and I were talking very cordially, the first man again stormed out from the back, very angry, and reiterated “You ordered a ‘Picnic’, that was on the sheet, that’s what I made, and I could do without the attitude!” At this point, in complete shock, I told the pleasant young man that I was “done” and left the store. I really have no idea what set this man off, or how I deserved the treatment I received. I remain baffled. Being close to the downtown core, I used this deli, as did a number of community groups I belong to, frequently in the past. Obviously, I will now be looking for a new place to get charcuterie!

AMAZING. I stopped in to get some things for a picnic dinner for my boyfriend and I. I originally got overwhelmed by the incredible selection and opted for the charcuterie bag for 2 plus another cheese and garlic stuffed olives. We had an amazing dinner with leftovers for a nice snack the next day. The owner had it prepped for me in half an hour on a busy day. I can't wait to come back and try more.

They never returned my deposit, even though I returned the platters etc. the very next morning, and got an acknowledgement plus a promise to return my deposit. No refund. Weeks of phoning, emailing and even visiting, still no refund credit on my credit card.
