COBS Bread Bakery Royal Oak

I’m only here to rate the poor customer service. It’s COBS — the bread will be as good as any other location — but if you want decent service, you’re better off driving somewhere else. If you’re in a hurry and don’t mind being treated like they’re doing you a favour, or like they’d rather you didn’t come back, then I guess this is the place to go.

Nothing more irritating than calling them to try to put away something so your partner doesn't make a pointless trip than to have nobody pick u0 until you have a fax machine screaming in your ear. Either pick up the phone or turn off the fax machine. By the way I haven't had this problem with any other Cobs on this city. Probably be best if you went to a different location. More than one server at this location has an attitude problem.

I go here to get breakfast all the time and the workers are so kind and lovely!! Abi helps me all the time and she is amazing!!

I’ve been to many different locations in the area and this is the only one that consistently has focaccia in stock. Some of the others don’t even seem to offer it? And of course no matter what you get it always tastes amazing!

Found this place while visiting the area and so glad we did. Everything we bought was amazing and the service was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend scones and stuffed croissants.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but the service at this place is so awful i feel obligated to say something.
I come here frequently as I live very close by, but after today I rather drive to the Shelbourne location. The younger looking gentleman at the front is absolutely awful. This isn't the first time I've encountered his rude and dismissive behaviour, not just to me but to others as well. Not sure if he has issues or just enjoys being miserable, but either way, I'll never set foot in this place again.

My favorite location, by far! Whenever I've been in the shopping centre, I always pop in for a loaf of bread. Staff is really friendly and helpful! I'd always come back. :)

This location has deteriorated over the years. Terrible customer service. Nobody seems to want to work it’s a shame. My husband and I showed up just 2 mins closing time at 6 on a Sunday. The guy was sweeping and doors were open. Asked politely for a loaf of bread, the guy didn’t even look up, make eye contact, told my husband no he can’t. It’s baffling there were people waiting to load their Van with left over bread. I don’t understand the mentality here it’s pretty pathetic. May be the owner should find people that want to actually work.Long time customers. Not coming back.

Delicious white continental sliced to desired thickness. Cinnamon bun was good sized.
