Do NOT trust the fake bad “reviews”!! Crust Bakery is a local gem. Staff are lovely, food is delicious. Savoury pastries can be messy and greasy at times, make sure they are not grilled too long. Had the pistachio ganache tart and was delighted. The entryway was quite crammed with people, difficult to get in and out

This bakery, despite having a good review points, provides low-quality service. I ordered a cake for my granny's birthday, and they completely messed up the dates. I could not be ashamed more than that time in front of the entire family because I had no cake for the birthday party (she became 90 years old, come on!). The granny got so upset because of quarrels that ended up with a stroke. I don't recommend such a service without even a single "We are sorry".

Ruined birthday for a child! Why should a 5 year old cry because of your staff?

The counter staff were friendly, cheerful and patient. I found the savoury items to be more palatable than the sweet items. The tarts were way too sweet for our preference. I would only recommend Crust bakery to people that are able to enjoy really really sweet things.

You must have a try here if you visit Victoria. Their daily brioche donut is the best donut I have ever had in my whole life. As a Chinese, I am very picky about sweets. Haven't found a lot of good sweets in Canada (except for chain brands originated from Asian countries). The blackberry filling was so soft and light and fresh. No artificial flavor at all. Had to go early to buy the donuts. My favorite pastry other than the donut is the Lychee raspberry rosewater Danish. I did not know who was the one created this combination. The Danish included everything I love - pistachio, lychee, rosewater, raspberry. Different flavors made the perfect combinations and I could eat four at once without feeling too much.

Nestled in the heart of the city, this bakery is a hidden gem for coffee addicts and pastry enthusiasts alike. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and oven-fresh breads welcomes you. The display is a feast for the eyes, with an array of tantalizing pastries and breads that beckon you to indulge. The coffees are expertly crafted. The breads, with their crisp crusts and soft interiors, are simply divine. The place is cute with few seats. Amazing customer service, The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. Absolutely love there whole wheat sourdough, raspberry lychee pastry and cappuccino.
I visited their kiosk outside of Walmart Uptown for the first time this week. I ordered their Crème Brûlée Tart and it was delicious! A little bit pricey but that’s what you pay for: real butter, made in the French Pastry Chef style. There’s usually a short lineup but it moves fast and the staff are very pleasant to deal with. They make you feel that they appreciate your business. I will return!
We found crust bakery by accident on a day visit to Victoria. They had fresh tasty pastries, great selection, cozy little shop, and friendly staff. The coffee was excellent also!

I never mind paying for something from Crust - truly a fabulous local bakery. The brioche donuts are always delicious, the frangipani pastries never fail to make my mouth water, and if you're lucky enough to snag a freshly baked bread roll early in the morning and smother it in butter - that's it, you've already had an amazing day.

You know it’s going well when you need 3 staff members behind a 10 foot bar- the place is hopping but there’s always someone to help. Audrey had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable. All staff were welcoming. The baked good were out of this world!
