I had the pleasure of having a coffee and BLT for the first time here with a friend that’s a regular. The owner Liz was so friendly and provided such great service with fun and a smile. We enjoyed chatting and the coffee was local and amazing and the BLT was crispy, full of fresh ripe tomatoes and lettuce. Highly recommend for a coffee stop or lunch break. Gluten Free options as well.

Rude when I went in to just see if my friends were there. Because the person at the counter was busy talking to two patrons, I thought I would use the washroom, as I had been on a long walk looking for my friends, and then I would ask if my friends had been in and probably would have bought a drink, but because she was so rude & said no I couldn’t use the washroom, I left & won’t go back. When I did find my friends at another restaurant, they also expressed that they had also experienced rudeness there at another time. What a shame as we like to support local businesses and we are a group of about 12-14. Too bad so sad Dagwood we won’t be supporting you and we won’t give a good review to anyone that asks about you.
Not sure why you think this is a joke when you really did this to me. Maybe you need to take your own advice and be more kind to potential customers. I hope you learn from how you treated me.

This cafe makes the best sandwiches in Langford. And at Christmas time you can buy authentic Quebecois tortiere. I love this place.
This one woman show does it all from scratch. No lunch meat chicken on the chipotle chicken sandwich (the best in case you were wondering)! Great coffee and good local shop to support.

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich—so good I ordered takeaway for lunch (a BLT and a bowl of ham & split pea soup). Everything was fantastic, latte included. The owner is a total firecracker with a ton of heart, running the place solo, and it shows. A regular popped in while I was there (apparently comes six days a week), which gave the café a warm, family vibe. This isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s a little community hub. I’ll be back for sure. Wishing the owner all the best, and hoping more people come out to support a great local spot!
