This is my first time at this location and the staff were so sweet specifically Peggy. I had my son with me and I wasn’t able to eat so she offered to hold him so I could enjoy my meal. I’ve never felt more seen as a mom. She deserves a raise. Thank you Peggy for making my meal so enjoyable❤️

Lots to be desired at a restaurant we used to know and enjoy as “all-good”
Please Get to work and make this restaurant great again!
Last visit was a week or so ago and not impressed! Portions are smaller, quality of food is lower and prices are higher.
Sorry but won’t be coming back until these things change.

Have been going to De Dutch since they opened many years ago. Had the pleasure of being served by Sanjeev a few weeks ago. Excellent server. Impeccable service. His serving skills lead me to believe that he has worked in a fine dining establishment at some point. Thanks Sanjeev for the great all round service. It was noticed and appreciated.

I used to go to the one in Vancouver when I was young I’ve always enjoyed it. The hash was really tasty although I wish there was a little more hollandaise sauce. Also added whipped cream and triple berry topping, for almost $5 the fruit compote was ridiculously small ? was a nice treat but for $30 it was a little on the pricey side.

I was really looking forward to having brunch. I ordered a pannekoek with mushrooms. The portions are pretty good, but very little tomatoes and taste was bland. I’m not sure it was normal or not ,but I tasted slightly overcooked. I will order a sweet pancakes if I come back

Great service. Staff seemed to enjoy the place as they were smiles and laughing together. Best orange juice and great kids menu.

Its a lovely family run restaurant, loved the cosy atmosphere. Food was amazing and service was warm. Our server was a lovely older lady and she was so nice and warm.

The food is expensive, especially considering the value for money and nothing extraordinary.

Great food, lovely quality. Fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh cooked breakfast! I've been going here for years and have enjoyed my meal every time! Usually, there is no lineup, and if there is a wait, it's never long. Fabulous little spot ??

Vegetarian options: I Love getting the omelet for a veggie option ?

Dietary restrictions: Sour dough options for use slightly gluten intolerant folk. ?

First time at this breakfast establishment. Prices high for breakfast. De Bakon (not Bacon) was very thin, fried ham bits, dry, overcooked and very salty, eggs were done correctly, hashbrowns were the worst I've ever had ~ tiny cubes like McCain but not as tasty, toast was only one piece cut in half, fruit bowl was tiny slice of pineapple, quarter of a strawberry, 2 blueberries, 2 grapes and 3 slices of banana. Only good thing was the coffee and eggs. $22 plus taxes and tip. Won't be going back. Wish I'd taken a photo. Question to the owner: Reviews show complaints about your hashbrowns for years! Why haven't you changed them? Repeat happy customers create excellent reviews and therefore successful businesses. Profiting from ripping people off gets you no where... Should have read reviews before wasting our money.
